carnival73: Is it just me?

Rather than a store selling these games at full retail I'd much prefer waiting for Humble to just dish them out in packs in their dollar bundles.

Wafflecones: First, how do you know that all of these games are going to end up in bundles? A lot of these games are available only for Windows and therefore, not eligible to be bundled. Second of all, what's wrong with actually buying an indie game at full price? If the developer did a good job, and I felt like they deserved the asking price, I'll give it to them as support. Simple as that. Also, "dollar bundles"? I would never pay less than $7 for a bundle personally.
Not even if that entire bundle was the Save The World Collection? =P

Sanctum
I can always count on your help ;)
Added Defense Grid: The Awakening. Doesn't look like it's DRM free >:-|

Bloody hell, Sanctum DRM-free! That's one I wasn't expecting considering it was Steam only when it was in the Indie Royale.

That's even weirder, because that was DRM-free in the Indie Royale...

I know. I don't understand why they would release the game DRM-free in a limited window. Whatevs, I can buy other games.

Pretty sure you can still buy the DRM-free version on Desura.

Barry_Woodward: Sanctum
I got it thanks to Indie Royale and will gladly buy it again to have it drm-free because it was a really great game. The only drawback is that it's twice the price than its steam counterpart :(

"This game requires Steam to run."

But fuck, $20 on the Humble Store is really steep.

They were talking about Defense Grid, not Sanctum.

Aso.

Well, Defense Grid is DRM-free in my Desura account, so I'm guessing that the DRM-free version is a Desura exclusive (Indie Royale is operated by Desura).
!!!WARNING!!!
I just bought Sanctum and the download seems unavailable at the moment (payment is made and I've got the key). So I'm writing to the team and see what happens. I'll update this this message when the situation resolves.

As far as I know, Sanctum uses Steamworks for multiplayer, so I don't see how it could possibly be DRM-free.

Going by catpower1980's most recent post, the DRM-free thing might be a mistake.

It kind of looks like the 'DRM-free download' was a mistake now. Can't believe the Humble guys would go against their principles and sell games without a DRM-free download though...
