Humble Store

Actually its own thing now.

After seeing this thread, I decided to check up on this Humble Store, since I am very excited about it as well. On the 404 page (for www.humblebundle.com/store/), I saw a "Chat with Support" type box, so I asked about the store. What I got back was assuring (see attached). At least they are not hiding behind an iron curtain of denial.

EDIT: Name blurred to protect the innocent

I knew there were quite a few of those, but this is a lot more than I expected. Thanks for compiling the list, EC-. Can't wait for the store to open, though I imagine GOG won't be too thrilled with it.

Yep, that's how I found out about quite a few of them. Also, added your additions, thank you.
So do I understand this correctly - this will be a store, similar to here & a place that has something to do with those points ?

thank you for the heads up :)

Basically, the Humble Bundle team has been preparing to open a storefront for indie games. The store has no dedicated URL yet, but the service is basically in effect, as all these links work for purchase with the options listed (PayPal, Google Checkout and Amazon Payments). Upon purchase, a "key page URL" is sent to the e-mail given at purchase, where you can download your game DRM-free as many times as you like, in any of the supported formats, along with any extras given. If you elect to do so, you can also set up a Humble Bundle/Store account, which will tie all bundles and individual games purchased from them to your supplied e-mail on a single account page, which is rather convenient.

Looks like they've got a domain lined up and ready to cover that:

Is it safe to say that we'll probably see fewer HIBs?

Smart move by them. Build a loyal, happy following and strong reputation, then offer more options and products.
