innerring: There will be a new "more" complete version released soon...

Foxhack: It's already out, it's just region locked to the US only.

Thanks to both... but why this lock? Is something temporary, right?
Well, this one was an insta-buy for me! Seeing as I didn't have any Civ game on my current computer or on Steam. That situation has now been rectified.

People can debate the relative merits of the different games and DLCs all they want. It will always be true that Civ > No Civ. ;)

andysheets1975: Is Civ 5 worth beating the average? I recall it being somewhat controversial when it was released.
Civ 5 with G&K and Brave New World it's pretty damn close to Civ4. And at some points: better. I hated Civ5 at release, but they've cleaned up a lot of the release mess.
Cursed be once per month shopping agreement with my dad(also curse octodad for looking so damn good and buying it)
So what DLC does the base Civ V include now?

Could someone please check?
So glad i've passed on all those $7.50 compete collection deals, and chose Mafia 2 as my free game for that GMG promo. This was a no-brainer BTA (though not shelling out $15)

Might be years before I get around to playing these though.
If only it could have been a DRM free sale, as well as direct download ;(
It's a good bundle, but for some reason it doesn't interest me at all.
It might have something to do with getting CIV4 and 5 for free a long time ago, or because although I loved the first couple of CIVs I just can't get into the newer ones.
Still a good bundle though, if they get their hooks in ya those games can take up a lot of your free time.
Which might also be a bad thing...

Would have gladly re-bought every game in this bundle had there been DRM-free versions. Might just gift the $1 tier to a few people since I have everything but Sid Meier's Railroads.

Sachys: ARSES! Bought civ 4 complete just before christmas as well. ah well, a damn fine $1 bargain for everyone else though!
Imagine me buying the Firaxis bundle for $15 where I already had CIV V gold. And it only had XCOM: EU
Just saw this at the bottom of the page:

"DISCLAIMER: This bundle is not for sale to residents of Burma, China, Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Sudan and Syria, and the games in the bundle will not operate in those territories."

Why are the games not available for those countries?

They would learn how to defeat the US :]

Probably a mixture of export regulations and regional distribution agreements.

... I didn't even know people in North Korea could use Steam...

Perhaps, something to do with the portrayals of these countries in those games?
