ne_zavarj: Poor CoD . BF3 will be more popular after this bundle .
Well... I've just paid the $1 for the rest. I don't play online games... except maybe dota 2 once a while...
So many games I don't want to play... so cheap...
Well, fuck me sideways... and call me Shirley.

That's a sweet deal. I've certainly been eyeing Burnout Paradise for a while now, but at this price point the temptation is too much. Well, the rest of the offering is pretty damn good, too. Maybe I'll actually finish Mirror's Edge this time. Plus the possibility of more fun games? What's not to like here? Of all of them I think I'd try Dead Space 3 first since I loved the first two. Damn the naysayers.

I don't mind Origin if there's a need - got the ME trilogy bundle for cheap a little while back - so I'm probably just putting all of them there. No big deal.

Foxhack: I don't get why they didn't include Sims 3 keys for Steam...
Because they don't release expansions there anymore and they want people to buy expansions.
Poor Nuuvem customers .

Why? Can't they buy the bundle?
OMG this is SO good, I only have Burnout Paradise (which is awesome, by the way) This is a no-brainer for me!

Wouldn't be surprised if some Mass Effect goodness turned up as bonus as no 2 was in that other bundle...

Holy cow. Perfect timing as I was just planning on purchasing The Sims 3 for my wife.

Nice one, EA!
wow never expected this to happen. Some good games there most i already have.

saldite: It's Steam from EA. It's also a download manager, too, though. If the game is made by EA and is post-Origin, you need Origin to play it since that'll be the form of DRM. Third-party games or older EA games do not need Origin to be running when you start them (a lot of them have really draconian forms of DRM like SecuROM or that limited activations bullshit. I haven't run into them, but I had an annoying issue with Dragon Age Origins and it's DLC since you need to be online in order for the DLC to work).

It's not a bad client, but I feel like EA could be doing more with it. I mentioned DA:O above, since I almost wonder why Origin itself couldn't verify that. Or for other games like Mass Effect 2 where I still need some BIoWare points shit to buy the DLC on a separate website outside of the service itself (brilliant!) when the client could handle that, too. It's like EA has a decent client and DRM method (comparable to Steam), but they don't use it unless it's the newest of their own games.

Grilledfish: Yeah, I don't mind a client if it's not more intrusive than Steam. It's just the limited activations stuff I don't want to fuss around with. And it seems the Origin versions of these games come with SecuRom, where the Steam versions have it removed or inert.
Not quite: http://pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/The_Big_List_of_3rd_Party_DRM_on_Steam

Dead Space: Inert SecuRom
Mirror's Edge (but only multiplayer), Burnout Paradise: The Ultimate Box, Medal of Honor: EA account: online activation + always online

Crysis 2: The Steam version of the game contains Steam's "stub" form of DRM. Online play requires MyCrysis account. Origin version has SolidShield.

PaterAlf: Games for Origin and Steam. I guess that is what Humble Bundle is calling cross-platform these days... ;-)
As far as I can see you're the only one talking about 'cross-platform' here

Tranquil.Suit: Dead Space: Inert SecuRom
There's inert starforce on some GOG games. So?

Imagine you bought Dead Space 3 or any EA games that are on sale on Nuuvem today , and you just heard about his bundle .

Origin? No, thanks.

Romanul: Origin? No, thanks.
Not even for the Steam keys for 5 of the PWYW games? Honestly asking as Origin/EA doesn't get any of the money, it all goes to various charities and the Humble Tip.
