Zacron: do we get separate keys for each game?
Great, more work to input all keys. What a nuisance.

Just kidding, it's actually quite neat.

Zacron: Dead Space and Dead Space 3 why not Dead Space 2?
It's arguably the best in the series - they want you to go buy it for more than a dollar?
Dead Space 2 might turn up as the second week bonus.

That said HOLY SHIT WHAT THE FUCK

ABH20: Aren't the Steam keys kind of a placebo since they'll require you to launch Origin for these games anyway? Or has that changed?
Only Battlefield 3, Sims 3 and Dead Space 3 require Origin to run. All the other games have native Steam versions and don't require you to have another program installed.

I don't get why they didn't include Sims 3 keys for Steam...

mondo84: Wow, never expected that. I'm curious to see how the online gaming community feels. All the purchases seem to go to charity or HIB.
You can't fool me with this HB charity, Origin. I know the bad things you do.

Still not bothering with Origin. Bought for a $1 for the Steam keys. Will be giving away Origin keys in the near future.

Here's a creepy thought, imagine if EA buys GOG!
NNGGGHHH!! My cheapness and my principles are colliding! Do i need these games? No. Do i want to install yet another client? No. But they are so cheap! it's almost a crime not to toss money their way. I'm not even THAT interested in any of the games, but being less than seventy cents each makes me overlook that detail oh so easily. We'll see what i decide when I get home.
Well i already have origin and i was looking for this, but im on vacation
Haha. When I read a tweet that EA is doing Humble Bundle, my jaw dropped... until I realized it's Origin/Steam package. Nothing new. These titles have been sold so cheap for so long to promote EA's client, it's nothing new.
AMAZING DEAL!!!!!!!

Thank you Humble Bundle
I actually bought Sims 3 starter box in retail not too long ago, but eh, now I can gift the origin game to my sister, so it's still a win.

Zacron: Dead Space and Dead Space 3 why not Dead Space 2?
Ever heard the saying "never look a gift horse in the mouth" ? Ponder on it.
In all seriousness, why did they add Steam keys? What could be the reason? I don't see how that makes sense for Origin/EA.

Yeah, no I get that. It was just a question. I already own over half the set, but I still bought it.

Because they want sales.

If this bundle was Origin only it wouldn't get even a quarter of what they could get for Steam keys.
I'm going with the idea that DS2 will be added next week. No proof of it yet, but it's a logical assumption. Wonder what else (if anything) will be added next week...
I don't care about sims and battlefield.. So I'll throw in probably $1 for Crysis and Dead Spaces. I wonder if I get the extra packs too, which will be added next week.
