Khadgar42: I bought three copies, one for myself and two gifting codes, though the gifting codes have some trouble. paypal registered the transfer but humblebundle didn't send any codes (yet), anyone else had that problem?

Fictionvision: Some people on other forums are reporting the same thing. It seems this bundle broke both Origin and Humble Bundle.

Also it is over 2 million already. I think the THQ bundle and HiB5 are going to be passed by the end of this one.
What a SimCity like start. *lol* I'm already enjoying the fact that I have bought this.

They probably will need a couple of months until Origin is able to figure out how to cope with this mass of new users.
Most likely they did this bundle to check how many people hate EA and thus are willing to play their games without paying them.
Maybe any new Origin user tied to this "cheapskate" humblebundle will recieve less bandwith and even lesser service and will be marked as inferior customers by Origins digital census and information evaluation protocols.

livefree: I bought the bta bundle but for the first time I didn't get a link after purchase it was constantly on processing page for a long time and I just close that page afterawhile thinking it's probably emailed to me but no email either my paypal already shows money deducted. Has this happened to anyone else?
That happened to me a few Humble Bundles back... I think it was with Alan Wake. I had to wait in that page for minutes (more than 5), until I finally got a link (key) to claim the bundle page. I was scared of closing that window, and now I think I did the right thing...

You may want to contact Humble Bundle support with the code (transaction number) from the sale (if you paid with PayPal, you must have received a receipt in your PayPal registered e-mail, or you can login you PayPal account and see it from there), and ask for the link.

Khadgar42: It seems that as soon as you keep fiddling with newer EA games you are DOOMED!!!
I emailed the support and after 15min I got a separate email with the link not sure if the email was just delayed or if the support got to it.
Got my late two emails as well. Hopefully they came in chronological order, as one gift code has BF3 and Sims 3 and the other doesn't.
$2,136,631.80

It seems that the PayPal payment option is gone...

Edit: Nah, it has come back.

Why buy games around? Humble Bundle gives us everything we'll ever need!

...And this is getting serious!
From the Burnout page on Steam:

INCLUDES SOFTWARE THAT COLLECTS DATA ONLINE NECESSARY TO PROVIDE INGAME ADVERTISING
Seriously? The shit big publishers are putting into games these days is getting ridiculous.

Anyway, Mirror's Edge and Dead Space look interesting. Don't have an Origin account, just created a Steam account last month. But might be worth checking the games out considering the price.

Really? Are they allowed to do that already?

Hopefully they finally learn to collect the right data this time and start advertising some well deserved boobies.
I don't mind advertising, if done properly, by a young beautiful lass, preferibly naked.
Most likely my driving skill would suffer though.

Read some more about that "feature". From wikipedia: "From 6 October 2008, in-game billboards featured ads for the then United States Democratic Presidential Candidate Barack Obama. Electronic Arts confirmed that the Obama campaign paid for the advertisements, marking the first time that a United States presidential candidate has bought in-game advertising."

Sad.
Has anyone had problems with The Sims 3 key? It's a 4 piece code instead of the five of the others. When I try to activate it on Origin, it points me to The Sims 3 site, but once there, they ask a 5 piece key for activation and won't acept my 4 piece key.

Haven't tried yet as my Origin states that code activation is currently down do to the surge of people trying to access it. Not gonna complain though as this is common on any game client during a huge sale or event, hell Steam is known for running out of CD-keys.

I don't think your Origin Key is your CD Key... hopefully it all works out for you.

On the bundle page it says "The Sims 3 Date Night DLC will appear here, after some technical difficulties are sorted out!" Hope that answered your question.
Well, looks like all remnants of the old Humble Bundle is gone. R.I.P
From the HB FAQ it seems I had to create a CD Key less account for me in the sims 3 site and then go into my account and redeem the code.

I did redeem it successfully, but... the game doesn't show up where it should and upon retrial, the key is pointed out as redeemed.

So... I'll just wait a bit and see what happens. Maybe it will update properly on their side, maybe I'll have to go postal over help sites. :P
