the whole sale was a farce i think, the first bundle to kick it off was good from there it went pretty much downhill pretty rapidly in my oppinion, they had a lot of bundles that would have been way more worth it to get a 2nd chance

I agree, most of those bundles were just a bad joke. :D
Though Paper Sorcerer for $1 including the soundtrack was nice.

Yep, that was not even funny anymore.

But don't forget - the HB guys said they were doing those shitty bundles for SCIENCE! :D

And i have a feeling that this fellow probably inspired them:

So where's the actual retrospective? All I see is a couple of paragraphs of text and tumblr shit.

Tumblr links are the new rickroll.
I hope they learned not to play with people's expectations because Science...Bitch. Most of the bundles were a big joke which they just should have put up on their store instead. There was laughter alright of the *MUWAHAHAHAH* variety when presenting these so called bundles to the public. :P

This. They did the same thing on FB, just a lot of fluff about science! and no explanation of what they learned, etc etc.

Must be super secret science.

Only reason HB posted that "retrospective" was to say, that even their worst received bundles sell way more than any other bundle.
Yeah a lot of those bundles were junk, but SOMEONE else bought them. I only bought the first of the dailies.
Yes, they were terrible.
But why is it when GOG experiments it's fantastic and all in good fun, but when another business does it it's evil?

I reckon GOG has had its fair share of complaints with promos and experimental. I don't think everyone was happy with Insomnia sale for an example.

I have some trouble understanding why people bother to complain about sales. I mean its not like youre forced to buy anything or even follow them.

If someone else like to do it, what sort of loss is that to another person?

I havent really had time nor interest to follow bundles lately. Got way too much games anyways.
