AndyBuzz: BTW what's the deal with Phil Fish and the hate he deserves? Have no idea.

Wishbone: Several things, but the one thing sticking in most people's minds (I think) is that he acted like an ass on Twitter and got some backlash for it. The most memorable comment he made was a reply to people asking about a future PC version of Fez, and was something along the lines of "Fez is a console game, for consoles. PCs are for spreadsheets". Then he later turned around and decided to release a PC version after all.
Which is hilarious because I'm pretty sure Fez started out as a PC game.

Wishbone: ...
This tweet. I wonder what is so scandalous about it. I laughed at his trolling Steam announcement where he made a reference to this. I mean, yeah, I can imagine he didn't receive warm welcome from superdrive08 but it is obvious it was intentionally facetious.

AndyBuzz: YES! Trine 2 at last.

SovietSharkey: He made some rather bad comments for a developer to make and cancelled a game after telling someone to kill themself during a huge Twitter argument
Oh he also insulted people on Steam discussion multiple times before release to boast about his sales
it was a pretty obvious futurama quote.

so it's kind of bad that a. he was trying to communicate through memes and b. that people didn't get the reference and took it seriously.

still fish is probably one of the most pure crystallizations of everything wrong with the indie scene.

dutchexcalibur: Good to the Humble getting back to a DRM-free bundle.
Good to see the Humble getting back to a multiplatform DRM-free bundle, indeed!
I've said it before about Fish, but I think he's trying to be today's version of Andy Kaufman during his complete villain phase. Shock value and saying stuff he knows will get a rise out of people. I admit, in that regard, he does a good job because even I was ticked off at him during the height of his 'rampage'. Now I just see it as 'meh' and he being self-serving to the very last, going so far as to cancel (probably still working on it secretly) FEZ 2 because of things people said about and/or to him.

He was, and probably still is, a PR agent's worst nightmare.

A very good point to add, and one which gets lost sometimes. As a Windows gamer I tend to overlook that myself, and I think it's important that the OS ecosystem diversity get as much support as it can. +1
Hm, first time that I have a problem with HIB (Mark of the Ninja key does not work) and it seems they deactivated the live support... was it available for the previous bundle?

edit: It seems the issue was resolved while I was typing the mail, it's in my account now (on activation, Steam displayed something about some key subscription, "Your subscription to %%subscription%% was successful")

Can you be more concrete? In my experience, indie devs are very friendly, active to help, tries to release patches, supports cross-platform and DRM-free and there is always something new. That's everything I hoped for.
I haven't played many of them, so that's probably the reason.
I gave Fez $0 in my split up.

Though I bought the game when it came out on 360, so he already had my money from before. :P

Aye, good correction that I overlooked. It's refreshing to see that both of those tenants are present for this bundle.
Really surprised FEZ made its Mac/Linux debut on Humblebundle instead of Steam. I thought that's how people roll these days.
Shoot, I need to get this for the soundtracks at least! (My computer is so old that I doubt I could run any of these games, even.)
Hmm tempted for Mark of the Ninja and Brutal Legend, some..

Just seen this noitice also :

"PSA - Humble Bundle Important Notice! ($1 bundle changes)

Buying the $1 bundle no longer grants you the extra bonuses later. Take a look under the games to the right. You'll see:

More games coming soon!
Pay more than the average of $4.40
to unlock them when they arrive!

This means that you now must buy the BTA in order to get those. So if you're buying the $1 bundle for the extra games later, DON'T DO IT!!!!"

Ah well i just found out about the BTA for 1$ before they get added not too long ago, cheap way but not a deal breaker.
Okay, same thing with Faster than Light. I'm posting some more details because I'm curious if it's the same for other people: On activation, Steam displays a message "promotion code has been activated. You can access the content once you have activated the full game on Steam". After some time, it appears in my library and after a Steam restart, it seems to work.
