What strikes me is how low the average has dropped. This is pretty much what I thought would happen - seems Humble Bundle have basically ruined their brand name with the recent bundles and lost any kind of respect they had from those that would generally have chipped in a bit more. All they seem to be left with now are the scroungers.

A pity, because this is a great deal (although the inclusion of Brütal Legend in a main bundle is a bit puzzling). Good to finally see Trine 2 and Mark of the Ninja DRM-free for a change, although I imagine that we'll now see Trine 2 coming to GOG.

Yeah, the fact that at the very moment 14(!) bundles are also running has probably nothing to do with that. The third overall bundle had the same average and the HIB 4 "only" 5.5$ average.

But yeah, it must be the THQ bundle that ruined it. Because no bundle after that made any good average.

$4.50 for 4 beers? I assume you meant a bottled beer from a store, right? I still remember when a big one cost $0.80 in a pub, though :(.

I was holding out on Mark of the Ninja in case it came to GOG.... but at that price and to help charity you just can't say no.

Yeah, and even the classic games nowadays appear on Steam and elsewhere. So I guess GOG could just as well close its doors, everyone buys all their games elsewhere nowadays.

Anyway, as Amnesia proved, there are always quite a lot of people who don't routinely buy each time-limited Indie Bundle out there. So they are the people who may still buy the games _after_ the bundle is closed.

(And even if GOG really closed its door at some point... good thing then that they served to us DRM fanatics so at least we can keep playing the games (without DRM), huh? :))

Anyway, I bought the bundle mainly for Trine 2 and maybe Mark of the Ninja, but I hope to see them also on GOG, especially with the missing MotN DLC. At that point I am willing to buy them again from GOG.

I bought his game, so yes I did. It is only fair that he gets his share, as I am going to play it also. As long as you do not give a full split to charity, then I think anything else would be unethical.

Don't know why they waited so long to make this change. The previous system didn't make much sense. Not that I'm complaining, I got some extra games that way.

I don't have any of these but I'm short on spending cash because of a snafu with shipping something on eBay (entirely my fault, don't go hating) so I'll pick it up next Friday when my next check clears.

And I said GOG has extra competition with classic games too. Not sure if all this really means anything.
