It will be interesting to see if the huge success of the THQ bundle brought in new customers.

kodeen: Pity that HIB doesn't have the leverage to force this anymore, what with them selling their souls to THQ and everything.
avatar
Kristian: They don't have that leverage, but it so happens that there are some willing devs out there. Good bye to the fence sitters though.
hahahaha. I wonder how you know so much about the internal machinations of the people behind the HIB...

I would think so. Personally a few of my friends who only found out about the site through me during the THQ Bundle have sent me texts about this one, asking if it's worth it, so I expect that they'll have an influx of new customers who signed up their e-mail addresses for future releases doing the same.
I can't remember a more amazing 24 hour period.

HIB 7
GOG End of the World sale

and soon the Steam sale.

Crazy time for gamers!
Good to see Wrath of the Lamb available DRM-free now, although the whole game is being remade soon anyway so I'm probably just gonna wait for that before playing again.

Less mainsteam, but Groupees and Indie Royale are running bundles too.

Wallets will die, horribly.

fortune_p_dawg: Ugh... I love Desura and it drives me CRAZY when the devs act like the DRM-free Desura releases of their games are neutered monstrosities. As if removing the DRM were like taking rusty scissors to the games testicles, they just abandon them.
avatar
Foxhack: Sounds like the Revenge of the Titans dev. He actually removed the game from sale on Desura because it made him very little money (and he hadn't even been paid, apparently?) and Desura was too complicated to deal with. He also said the only platform where he makes money is Steam. And he doesn't seem to care about GOG.

</angry rant>
To be fair, RotT dev is one few HiB devs who open-sourced code of his game. If the engine is open-sourced, it doesn't matter much if the store is DRM-free or not.
And now Paypal will not let me finish my purchase.... oh God... :(
To repeat my question: Is Dungeon Defenders worth to BTA?

Fesin: To repeat my question: Is Dungeon Defenders worth to BTA?
I put 50+ hours in it beginning of this year. Was a lot of fun. But only if you are using it on Steam as a MP game. SP is boring.
I recently bought LoG on gog and Dungeon Defenders doesn't interest me. This is the first bundle that I am not interested in the beat the average bonuses (but will do so anyway).

Shank 2 is the only game that really interests me. Maybe Snapshot. Closure is probably a great game but it doesn't look like my cup o tea.

I feel that in previous bundles I have given less to the HiB team than they deserve so, given that there are only a few games I am interested in, now would probably be an appropriate time to give them a "thank you" Christmas bonus in the form of a more generous tip.

Also:

Please note: The Mac version of Shank 2 is currently in beta and is being updated quickly.

Anyone else still waiting for the Mac version of Vessel? It's not like I am hanging out for the game, just wondering if it will ever come.

Its pretty cool Tower Defense with RPG elements and a lot of loot but as SimonG said its best while you play in MP. If its the game with all dlc then the deal is not bad considering how many of them were released.

IMO, not really. I really love action RPGs and also tower defense games, but I found DD to be almost mind-numbingly dull.

LoG might be, but that's really dependent on your taste, and whether you're planning on getting the indie RPG bundle here.
The keys for games/DLC's are separated?

Stooner: The keys for games/DLC's are separated?
Separate key per game. DLCs are in the keys with each game.
