amok: I found it weird, frustrating and good.

This is probably one of the Marmites of games, I like it a lot, but I know others who thoroughly dislike it because of its strangeness and non-logical puzzles. It is thereby difficult to recommend as your mileage will vary, depending on how you get on with the core premiss of the game. However, I will say that it is very well made, and it is very clever (and at times I found the puzzles funny), but yes also hairpulling frustrating at times. It also at about 2/3 in start to lose a bit momentum, and the puzzles become more and more reliable on the manipulations with the 'gun' and not space.

I would say that it is worth taking a punt on it at this price, it is game everyone should experience just once at least, but be prepared for not getting on with it at all.
Thanks for sharing your opinion on Antichamber! I guess I'll wait and see what the bonus games are before I decide whether I want to spend money on it.
Can someone help me here? I bought the bundle and downloaded the games through torrents. But now that I checked the files, I have 2 setups files pertaining to Giana Sisters.

One is called

GianaSistersTwistedDreams_Windows_1391539472.exe (1,45 GB)

the other one is

gianasistersbuild.exe (1,41 GB)

I checked the humblebundle.com again and I can't find the second file anywhere there. I know I've downloaded it from there, what's going on?.

I downloaded the two versions when they were avalaible, and installed the two to see what was the differences.
It appears that "gianasistersbuild.exe" was less "complete" (there were less things in the "Extra" menu than on the "GianaSistersTwistedDreams_Windows_1391539472" version). I think "gianasistersbuild.exe" was an older version, and they deleted it from the servers, and now, there is only the latest and fullest version avalaible.
I'm not 100% certain, but hope it'll helps you ;)

Thank you! I don't need that one then. It's a shame I queud that first when downloading them all and the full version last.

Edit: Man, I really suck at spelling tonight.

A bit disappointed with the bonuses :( Beat Buddy has been bundled so many times it's not even remotely funny. Starseed is new to me, but it looks alright. Fez is a repeat.
When was Beatbuddy bundled? (they left out there pretty neat soundtrack for some reason)
Seriously How can u be disappointed with those games as Bonuses? geeez dude...

Well, Fez is a repeat and I've never heard of the other two. Usually the bonus games are a bit more interesting.

Beatbuddy was never bundled before.. It was 90% off one time on Steam though.
Any opinions on Starseed Pilgrim and Beatbuddy? Are they any good, how good and why? I know very little about them and watching the vids doesn't make me super interested in them either, so I'm still wondering if it's worth buying Antichamber and Monaco along with them. Not in the sense of "are all these games worth $5?" but in the sense of "do I really need to try/play/buy them, considering I already spend enough on games and have so many others I could play?". I mean, sometimes you find a rare gem and get drawn into a game you didn't expect to draw you in, but other times you lose interest faster than you can buy and download the games ... So are these anything special?

I haven't played them, but Starseed Pilgrim has gotten a lot of positive buzz. I remember Jonathan Blow was raving about it, for instance. It's apparently one of those games that doesn't tell you how to play, so you have to sort of poke and prod at it and figure it out as you go.

Beatbuddy as Spoder pointed out was ultra cheap, looks nice. IMHO the soundtrack is better than the game... shame it wasnt included (the only one not). Starseed you need to experience...word of mouth its nice but spoilers wreck the game supposedly..

Hm, together with Antichamber that's already two games then that you can't talk about without spoiling them and that you need to experience before deciding whether it was worth buying them (and I wager they're both games you either love or hate). So I guess the question is: Am I curious enough to risk being sorely disappointed? :D
