Does the fact that they're all HOBAs count also to the bright side? ;-P

I don't know, you tell me.
As HOG's go, Artifex Mundi creates very nice ones. I think I have played all of these, and they are thoroughly recommended. Not bad at all for that price.
F-word. Would've bought this in a second, even though I already have a couple of the games. Oh well.
I grabbed this one. I haven't played Hidden Object games in a while, but I really enjoy them for downtime - good ones are relaxing and satisfying. And time tumbles into them without a peep.

They can be quite enjoyable if done right which also includes them coming in a DRM-free standalone installer. ;-)
There has not been a single good flash bundle.

A lot of folks here consider Steam keys without DRM-free options to be unacceptable. I'm OK with Steam, but many here are not; while they have a point, everyone ultimately makes their own line they won't cross. Mine warily includes Steam, for example, but does not really extend to Origin; it's a matter of trust.

When it's at its best, Humble does offer DRM-free downloads.

I'm fine with steam, however i'm not a big fan of point and click games.
Ready to whine about another crappy bundle?

Can anyone confirm is the Good Friends Character Pack [for Bit.Trip Runner2] and "Bonus Content" for Electronic Super Joy are included in the DRM-free editions? I purchased the bundle regardless but can't download now; it seems like the extra content perks are Steam only at a glance.

Edit: The DRM-free installers have descriptions that do not indicate any additional content, so unles it's emabled quietly in the game that might not be included.
