Profanity: The Gentlemen of the Row, not the Steelport one. Fixed pretty much everything for me, except the sometimes floating props in cutscenes and the pretty shitty drawing with most cars.
avatar
jamyskis: I'm curious if it fixes the rather bizarre spark effect with damaged cars. When I first saw that, I thought puke would flying off the wheels.
I have no idea what you're talking about, so I guess it does?
A real shame.
If only they had either Sacred 2 or Saints Row The Third DRM free I might part with some cash, as it is, nope.

nijuu: What a gay Steam only bundle. If this doesnt show Humble has gone over to the dark side, i dont know what does. Sad really.
avatar
Luisfius: It is exactly the same as with the THQ bundle. No drm-free, no non-windows, no direct download, all steam.
The THQ Humble Bundle was/ has been pretty awesome for me and my brother. I would've most likely never played Company of Heroes or Dawn of War without that sell. Company of Heroes is one of my favorite games now and I've had a lot of fun playing it with my brother in the last week/ few days. I recognize that Steam has flaws but it's been pretty awesome for me.
I threw in a buck just for charity's sake. Hopefully I'll remember that I have a Steam account and not forget to play some of these :)

amok: No, sorry. It is there for the rest of eternity... you may drop support a ticket and see if they want to remove a game from you inventory, but it is unlikely (due to many reasons) . You can always sort your library and hide games (make a "not wanted" section and hide it),
avatar
JaqFrost: My personality doesn't lend itself well to that approach... I'll know they're there and it'll bug me, so I'd rather not buy the bundle. Cheers for letting me know though. =)
I have the same personality defect :), which has meant that I have missed out on a number of bundles I might otherwise have purchased... oh well, my backlog is too big anyway...

The lowest that SR3 The Full Package has been sold for has been 7.50, and only in one store in the USA. So if you want the DLC expansions that were part of the Season Pass, yes. You get a free Dead Island, too. :p

thanks, thats what i was thinking (the free game). ironically only put 30ish mins in SR so maybe not the longest play time to work out if i want more. plus the problem is when i watched some gameplay vids of DI (to see if id even play it) i got terrible motion sickness, the last thing i need is another game i want to play and cant due to being sick, also im not sure i want to play it, walking dead (the episododic one) was great but this im not a huge fan of jumpy games lately (damn!) so im sorta on the fence.
Thanks btw!

Tranquil.Suit: Just checked the reviews, apparently DIR kinda sucks compared to the original DI
avatar
amok: As far as I understand the critics, I think the matter is that DIR is more or less exactly like DI, just a new setting...
Pretty much. TB indicated it does things a little better than DI, but probably much more worthwhile for those who never played DI

Axemaniac/Shotgaming also indicated that the niggling issues are as bad or worse, but like the first, it would be better with mods that removed those elements.

Still, regular Dead Island in the first tier is quite worth it

TB has some interesting comments about this bundle......

SR3 is silly as hell - worth a longer play. dead island (whilst flawed) had agreat FP melee combat and settings and i spent slightly more on it at 75% off on steam - though i warn you the story is fixed on co-op to make more sense, the gameplay at this price is kinda worth it (i just played single player and enjoyed it - flawed as it was storywise).
Having finally got to play Sacred 2 for a bit, I can say that it is highly recommended. The camera is very wonky, but I managed to find this - http://steamcommunity.com/app/225640/discussions/0/864971045017248829/ - which improves it a lot. Basically it says:

"oooorrr you go to "%HOMEPATH%\AppData\Local\Ascaron Entertainment\Sacred 2" (hidden folder) where you can find your "options.txt".
Now create a new txt file and name it "optionscustom.txt".
Open that file and enter:

-- Kamera Einstellungen

camera.behaviour = 0
camera.customsettings = 1
camera.cameraShake = 1

camera.cam1_trackdist_max = 2000
camera.cam1_trackdist_min = 140
camera.cam1_rotx_min = -0.20

camera.dng1_trackdist_max = 2000
camera.dng1_trackdist_min = 140
camera.dng1_rotx_min = -0.05

camera.heromenu_trackdist_max = 2000
camera.heromenu_trackdist_min = 140
camera.heromenu_rotx_min = 0.05

options.camera_mode = 3
options.cameraConfigAutoCurve = 0
options.cameraConfigCollision = 0
options.cameraConfigFollow = 0
options.cameraConfigZoomCurveMax = 20
options.cameraConfigZoomCurveMin = 0
options.cameraConfigZoomMax = 20
options.cameraConfigZoomMin = 0
"

Thanks to the user Sneak0r.
Humble Bundle Boni added. Not many will be surprised.
Hm. I'm debating whether it would be worth a fiver for SR3 Full, Dead Island, and Metro 2033. The rest doesn't really interest me much.
