amok: Well. I do care what Humble Bundle thinks about it, they say so quite clearly on their site. Can't say I am displeased with this turn of events.

This post is on bookmarked now,

Umm, that post is regarding the 'licence splitting' that happens when you buy one licence and then give away the Steam key while keeping the DRM-free version. In this case the games are Steam only so licence splitting would be impossible in this bundle. All he wants to do is give away the extra licence, which in this case he can because the game is only available as a Steam key.

It should be obvious that that post has nothing to do with this situation. Either you weren't paying attention or just don't care enough to make relevant arguments.

triock: Sacred Citadel, Risen and Metro 2033.

DarkoD13: Was that posted anywhere or is that an educated guess? In that case I'd have to pay around $5 just for Sacred Citadel, I don't know if it's worth it. Isn't the game too recent for a bundle?

KneeTheCap: Amok is a troll for stating his opinions and even quoting a blue ?
To be fair, that was a blue's opinion on the matter. GOG's forum has no policy regarding the respect of HIB's ToS and until they do, I wish he'd stop banging on about it.

I know what you mean, but it is still relevant. The licenses is between you (the buyer) and HB, it do not really involve a third party and it does not follow the steam key. Option #2 Simon is discarding for option#3 is outlined here -

Well I got that in an email, sorry I can not post it:

"Hello, my superior just wrote a response in that thread.
It is not our primary task to police key sharing on our forums, but we will address such occurrences when we notice them. We don't want to block threads or even accounts over this, but we will show that we think partial key sharing is unfair.

Not sure how official you take that for...

And yes, I will bang on about it as long as it is still here.

Edit : Screw it.

So, about that bundle, eh? You know, the point of the thread?

YellowAries: Just so you all know, GameFly is also doing a DeepSilver sale and you can actually get Dead Island: Riptide for $5.00 cheaper on there if anyone is interested.

Here's The Link

EDIT And I don't think it's STEAM only either, but I'm not positive on this. (But there IS DRM (I think...))
GameFly is ONE OF THE WORST online stores when it comes to non-US customers and regional locking
Just remember, when spare key gifting is finally banned, you know who's fault it was.

Have SR2 (on disk), SR3 (only started to play - pretty neat) from another HIB, Sacred 2 Gold (Amazon DRM free + Steam), Dead Island
Not interested in Riptide.

Is Risen 2 worth it alone?.

Comes with DLC?

And RIsen 1 ?

Im surprised Sacred 2 Gold doesnt come with a DRM free copy as it *is* available.

Paid $0.01USD just for the soundtracks for now :P

No DLC for Risen 2, Risen 1 probably next week as a bonus.

Foxhack: Risen 2 does not come with any DLC, it's just the base game.
But to be fair.. Those DLC's are bad and don't really add anything. So under 5 dollars from the base game is decent deal.. Almost good.

It is, yes. Might check later if it is DRM free through Steam or tied in with CEG.

I thought u said Risen 2 is braindead?
Sacred 2 Gold on Steam isn't drm free. Needs Steam to launch and run etc.
Deep Silver has now been added to my list of "every game will come in a bundle", meaning I will never buy anything from them again if it's not in a bundle.

See you on the HB, Metro Last Light.

Braindead does not mean is it a bad game, just that it is not very cerebral :). The story is predictable, and it is pretty standard western ARPG fare. It is well crafted, though, just put your mind in free gear and enjoy the ride.

Ah, if someone else has checked about Sacred 2, then I will not bother. Cheers.
