Humble Books Bundle? Will that become a permanent staple?

No idea. I can usually make educated guesses about GOG, not HB. We shall see in 2 weeks to 2 months I'd say, depending on whether there will be repeats of this or not.

worth it for x3 if anyone still doesnt have it and fancys some space dogfighting / exploration / fleet building
universe sandbox is okay, but the second edition due (later this year?) should be really good.
kinetic void does look good too - but im not gonna splash that much on an early access game i havent seen / read up enough on

It has received its own tab on the main page, so I'm expecting it to become a permanent feature, or at least to have been planned as such.

imo new bundle isn't great, worth paying the minimium & getting X3 it on it's own I suppose

As far as i can tell, KV is more akin to X3 than endless space (might be wrong), but as its early access, you might want to do a bit of deep research and see how its going.

As to X3 - if you havent played before I definately suggest reading up some of the newbie guides on the egosoft forums - it'll explain the basics of the trading system and how to get going with it (can be quite daunting at first). once you've got it though, it can be really good!

A long time ago, I played a bit of X2, I think it was, but definitely going to look up those guides!

edit: KV seems nice, but all you can do so far is build ships, and it has been like that for a year. But you can also fight against other players via mods or something. Not worth $10 for me.

Amnesia Fortnight also had its own tab while they were making the prototypes, but it's not a permanent feature. It may become one, but that's why I said let's wait for this bundle to end first.
And if it does become a permanent one, then it will be Tuesday for big bundle reveal or extras, Wednesday for Book Bundle (reveal or extras probably) and Thursday for Weekly bundle reveal. Crowded I'd say.

Hehe, for some reason "Early Access" Kinetic Void immediately makes me think of Derek Smart.
