Grargar: A contender for the worst daily bundle?
I'd say its between this, the Banner Saga and Hammerwatch bundles might as well get some fun out of this continuous waste of day after day with Humble Dumple. :P
On the bright side I haven't had to buy any since the first daily bundle...so there is that.
That is because I am absolutely not interested in the games, or the interesting games are in the $10 tier, but I digress.
20$ for a plex. Isn't that the normal going price ? That's not even a deal.

Well, not that harsh, my friend...for example Paper Sorcerrer or Race The Sun for 1$ is pretty much nice deals.

Yeah, I guess those were alright but still getting a single in PWYW BTA tier should not be called a bundle, its more like for one game which a few other sites do. These sad bundles from humble have lowered the expectations so much that now people are conditioned to accept a single game with "something is better then nothing" philosophy. :)

Remember stg83; these are the daily bundles. They might have done a poor job in preparing people for the one game/tier format, but it's true that these are not their typical Humble Bundles. I'm expecting similar deals for Sunday and Monday. I'm not expecting something similar on Tuesday, otherwise I will declare Humble clinically in(s)ane.

Thats true, I will give humble the benefit of the doubt until Tuesday which most likely will be an actual bundle but it sure would be fun to see them try to apply this daily bundle format for a main bundle just to see the WTF reaction. ;)
Only 2 more bundles to see if they came up with a package even worse than this EVE ....thing.

Ya know....I might've said there's no chance initially. But now? It's like they're winning me over in reverse. They're approaching adorable levels of bundle-related retardation. Halfway expecting the highest level price tier for the last bundle is a chance to sign their little plastic helmet with the smiley faces on it.
Well at least you get a game with the minimum tier for this bundle... kinda....

There have been a couple decent/good bundles for this experiment, but for the most part the daily idea has been a flop imo.

But hey, two more days to prove that theory wrong... or more correct.

Yeah id say it counts as maybe.. half a game :P
The free trial you could get on their website is 14 days. For the minimum tier you get 30 days. Pretty much youre paying for an extended free trial.. which you could just try for free instead.

If I read their support page correctly, you should also save the $5/€5/£3 activation fee it would cost to start the initial subscription, so there is some value in the lowest tier - you get more time to figure out if this game is for you before you have to pay, and if you subscribe (because you need more time, or because you like the game and want to keep playing), you'll still have saved a few bucks.

I've been on the fence about this for a long time, so because that fee should be gone, throwing $1 towards this seems entirely worth it to me.

Yeah I have to say today's deal is a really good one (not):

Promotion unavailable

Sorry, the Humble Daily Bundle: EVE Online is currently unavailable in your area.

In the meantime, check out The Humble Weekly Bundle and The Humble Store.

I mean, how low is that? Regionally restricting something that is supposed to be for charity.

yeah i know what you mean. This is one of the MMO's thats appealed to me more and im tempted to try it. But im still hesitant to get wrapped up in a subscription that also encourages me to give up my weekends :P
I just keep telling myself: if i really want to drain my time in an MMO there are dozens of free ones i could try without paying them hundreds.
Plus, i think im going to avoid getting this "bundle" by continuing to tell myself "you can try it anytime you want for 2 weeks, and not have to commit a dime, and you still havnt done that, because you dont really want to get wrapped in an mmo"
worth it for base tier but nothing for those with an existing accounting (if I remember correctly standard subscription is around and 15bucks a month ...cheaper the longer u sun for...)
