You can get a Steam key for Race the Sun through buying it from GOG FYI -- register the SN GOG provides (on the gamecard on your shelf) at the dev site, and they'll give you a key. Did that myself recently.

I'll second this recommendation, but I also recommend avoiding the higher tiers like the plague - both are online-only multiplayer titles, and their online is dead. I can confirm Guns of Icarus myself, and the Steam forums of Strike Vector make it pretty clear that the game is dead, despite a very small minority lashing out at anyone making this claim.

Guns of Icarus is showing 1200+ players right now and almost 4000 at its peak today. I wouldn't pick it because of its price. 3.5$ is way too much when you can get a complete 4 pack for 7$ on Steam.
