Steam is DRM. You may mean there is no third party DRM, but I think most games are like that.

There are quite a few games on Steam that after you download you can move to another computer, without Steam and/or internet connectivity, and play them without restrictions. So when he says Sacred 2 Gold is DRM-Free on Steam, he may mean that.

I agree, it would be really nice. But the SuperBox goes on sale sometimes, so keep an eye on that!

Can anyone help me understand if a game is required to be played online??? I'm specifically speaking of the very bottom game where it mentions Co Op as the best way to be played, which sounds like it must be a fully online game, which I'm not interested in.

No, on my screen the game on the very bottom, requiring a payment of at least $9 or $10, is riptide something or other. Sorry, my memory really sucks.

Ah, Dead Island Riptide. As I recall (haven't played it), there are character classes (or archetypes) in that game, so even though you can play by yourself, having a party may make things easier. A tank to keep the zombies on himself, some damage dealers to take them out etc. First Dead Island was playable offline, I think Riptide is as well.

Thank you, I couldn't find requirements at Humble Bundle, and to be honest, I'm unclear on whether Steam lists them plainly enough when a game is fully on-line, that's why I was asking. I have trouble with this often, and wish I knew what to look for. It seems like it should be listed in big, bold, print to me, but obviously that's just my opinion. I am just not at all interested in any game that requires one to be online in order to play it.

You can play offline and on-line (co-op). it has classes - 4 in the first, 5 in Riptide. All are played different. My favorite is the chinese secret service lady that is specialized in knives, swords and other cutting/slashing objects.

Other characters:

One rapstar - afro-american specialized in blunt weapons
Australian aboriginal police officer - firearms
American football star - throwing knives
Former Australian Defense Force soldier - hand to hand combat ( Riptide only )

Game is fun played alone, but is also fun played with a few friends.

I've bought bundles there before, but this time I only get like four keys, with several games on one key.

And split perfectly so that each damn game I don't have, includes games that I do, and won't be able to gift.

I caved and signed up for the daily bundle notification emails. Here's hoping I won't be completely fed up with Humble within a week. :P

They did that with all the big publishers bundles. One major exception was Bohemia Interactive bundle that offered not only one key per game, but also bonuses, which was something that never happened before on a weekly bundle.

Wouldn't the Sid Meiers collection (Take 2) be considered a big publisher?? I got that one (twice actually) and each individual game came with it's own link. I already didn't like that they changed from keys to links, as one gift was lost forever because of it (Civ IV Complete) and now this???

No, I won't be buying any further bundles there.
