Asbeau: Anyone know if the Humble version of Kingdom Rush is the same as the version that costs £0.59 on the Google Play store?

Stooner: More content without microtransations, and a higher resolution I guess..
Sorry, I should have been more specific - I'm asking about the Android version from Humble and if it still has the microtransactions found in the Play version.

If I understand correctly, the Play Store version has microtransactions for heroes and gemstones. In that case, I have found none of those in my Humble Android version. In fact, I can't even find anything in the menu pertaining to microtransactions.

There are no microstransactions in the Humble version. You can unlock all the heroes and levels simply by playing through the campaign.

I wish they would release Kingdom Rush Frontiers like this also. I absolutely despise in-app purchases in paid games...

(argl this is my most humiliating post on gog so far)

(also this may be my first attempt at writing. god i hate how they deal with the sound "i" )
These have got to be the most "creative" uses of the various "iota" sounds I've seen ;-P

As for the variety (single letters and digraphs) - it roots back to Classic Greek.

It must feel good to not understand what one writes ;-P

It is a comfortable, familiar feeling for me. ;)

Just check which permissions ask Humble apks during install. If there is no in-app purchases, then you dont have to pay anything.

BTW, 3 more games was added to Humble Android+PC bundle - The Shivah, the 2-D gothic action shooter, Savant - Ascent, and the homage to Amiga games of the 90s, Syder Arcade.
Shivah is good game, dunno about Savant, and Syder Arcade is great game with GREAT OST -check it out - https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLQXKbJCLKkQhN1f6Am9_4RDpZLYPsSsNy

JMich: Week 2 unlocks:

The Shivah
Savant - Ascent
Syder Arcade

All available DRM-Free, Steam and Android, with Shivah lacking steam Mac and Linux options. All come with their soundtracks.
And Syder Arcade's OST is one freaking amazin one. Its actually very good game anyway, strongly recommend it.

I was really on the fence but Savant Ascent, Syder Arcade, and Shivah made a convincing enough argument for purchase. Too bad these bundles can't include iOS editions too.
I don't know about you guys, but android games just turn me off. Ugh.

Thanks very much to both of you for the answers, bundle bought!

Redfern: snip.
I have the game installed for about a week, but I didn't remember the permissions granted during installation. And while indeed microtransaction permissions are shown before a game's installation, it's still very easy to find out if a game has microtransactions; it never loses any freaking chance to remind you, something that I didn't find in Kingdom Rush.

As for the 2nd Week BTA, you are kinda late. :P

I'm still tempted to buy the $1 bundle just to have a DRM free copy of Broken Sword 2. Might or might not do it.

Android no longer has the draw it had for me before. Very soon (when I find some free time) I'll buy an ASUS VivoTab Note 8, which will hopefully finally allow me to play many of my hoarded PC games on a mobile device. I will no longer need to find Android versions of games (although I'm sure that in some cases they will be more suitable for tablet play than the PC versions).

Yeah, i'm late. No probs.
Now, about permissions, you can see them in Settings -applications - 3rdparty :)
But, i dont think its POSSIBLE to include microtransactions for Humble games.
1) first, all humble android games have package IDs DIFFERENT to those which in Google play, so 2)Installation of these games is not registered in Google Play, so they will not be able to call in-app requests even if they have purchase permissions (thats tricky part here).

not worth it for me.I'm just going to buy the Syder Arcade OST by itself...the games in bundle don't interest me.ugh mobile gaming.

I think I actually found one notable offender; Catan HD, from Humble Mobile Bundle 4. It has a locked campaign and actually sends you to Google Play when you attempt to buy a campaign. Same case with Knights of Pen and Paper +1.
