I've got no experience with the Humble Bundle offers and it's possible I overlooked the information on their website or in this thread but could anyone tell me how long the HB#3 sale is expected to run? Is it for a day, a week, until a specific figure (of sales, of proceeds etc.) is reached, or completely unknown?

And if you buy it, can you still raise the sum you payed for it afterwards, if you find out it's worth more than you initially thought?

It'll last another 13 days 21 hours 25 minutes and some seconds. There's a counter in the top right corner of the page.

And yes, you can raise your sum post purchase, if you should wish to do so.

At the top right you will see a timer, so you have just under 14 days left to purchase. i missed it too the first time I visited the page, and was wondering the same earlier.

I do not believe you can increase your price, but nothing would stop you from buying it a second time for the additional amount, and possibly gifting it to someone later.
I bought a bundle for me and one for each of my two friends, I got my key but they have yet to get theirs. Anyone know why that might be...? I sent theirs to them as gifts, if that matters.

Do gifts normally take awhile?

I am not sure how much it matters, but the page does mention to send the gift to yourself and you will receive a gift link at that point to pass on to others. Still though, I would think they should receive some sort of email, but I have no idea.

I did that. Anyway, they got it. Just took like 20 minutes. Kinda weird.
And bought

You can raise your price afterward. They did it for the HIB#2 and the option is also available for the Frozenbyte bundle. By increasing your amount, you can increase the average contribution, whereas purchasing the bundle again would lead to 'false' statistics.
I ended up buying it anyway, but most of the money went to charity and Wolfire.

Well, I think the soundtracks got it some extra value. Plus, we never know which surprises they may bring in the next few days...

Kurina: If Revenge of the Titans can do this easily by sending an updated copy of the game, why can't Gish? Not sure what is needed with the order data. Or if anything, create a standalone patch for anyone to use?

xyem: With the order data, people won't have to rely on the HIB being updated to get updated versions. Makes more sense to me to do it that way (but most sense to update HIB and be able to download from the original developers).
Done a little poking over at Chronic Logic and it seems that the update isn't available because of lack of cooperation from them. Basically we don't have the update because they don't want us to. Dicks.
Man, Trine is amazing! :) Having so much fun right now! :)

Wait.. so.. Chronic Logic don't want to provide an update?

I find that hard to believe. After using my HIB #2 key for Steam, I got the updated version of the game immediately. They obviously want to update the game, otherwise the Steam version would still be the original version that was released with the HIB.

No need to offend them, they have us the game, after all. But yes, it is their fault that the update is not available on HIB.

Well, they could send Wolfire / Humble a new build. Why they still haven't, I've no idea.
