adambiser: If I wanted to grab the bundle, "All to charity" looks like the best option. :)
I did just that. Oh, and I contributed to bringing down the average (even below the Steam-threshold).

I see where you're coming from but if you chose to pre-order the game you had the intention to help/support the indie developer behind it, and you did just that. Now you may pay what you want for this nice bundle and support a good cause in the process. I think this is a Win Win situation, since you could basically get it cheap and consider it further bonus content and help charity of course.
This is the moderator reply to the one complaint thats stayed it's slowing down now though only 1 or 2 posts every few minutes...

Thanks .
Really bad move from Amanita. Way to screw your reputation guys, not to mention paying customers...

I didn't pre-order, but thought about getting it full price once the first feedbacks where available. I wouldn't mind seeing a price-drop or even a bundle in a month or so, but on release date?

I have two suggestions for the GOG.com team:
1. Ask Amanita why they even went that road, putting Machinarium (which was on sale several times) and Botanicula (sale on release + full soundtrack) on GOG.com.
2. In case of a unsatisfactory answer - tell them to get lost and drop them. Fast.

Yes, I just bought the humblebundle for 5 bucks with all money going to charity. Nada for devs and no humble tip. I will however support GOG.com with my money this weekend - I may be in the minority, but I DO vote with my money Amanita.

Gremmi: From GOG's Facebook - "Hey everyone; we just found out about the Humble Amanita Bundle. We're not sure exactly what yet, but we're going to come up with something for everyone who preordered Botanicula on GOG.com. Stay tuned and we'll try to come up with something tomorrow"
That's very nice of them.

Sounds pretty reasonable to be honest.

If it wasn't a low blow to GOG at the moment I doubt there'd be this much grief here over it.

bazilisek: Kooky is provided with an English dub only, with voices provided by Czech actors with perfectly dreadful accents :(

(It includes a fairly bizarre EULA, too.)
By the same actors as in czech version? Young Svěrák was bad even in czech so I can't even imagine how bad this is.
Soundtrack.... :'(

(Payed $5 got soundtrack. Gave most to charity. A bit miffed but I already own Machinarium and Samorost 2 several times over so its not a big deal to me)

Now that my pre-order has unlocked, I'm going to play this game and hopefully enjoy it.
(Listening to soundtrack while I wait for download to finish! :D)

I haven't seen the Czech version, but I recognised Polívka and Liška. And yes, it's very bad.

Not really, this kind of situations always cause grief for early buyers. It also happened when Valve by mistake put the You Monster DLC for Defense Grid on sale with a 75% discount less than a month after its release. This happened during the last Christmas sale and people were not happy but the developers weren't at fault. This on the other hand was a deliberate act by Amanita and people who pre-ordered are within their right to feel angry.
I was really looking forward to this game. But this bullshit takes the cake. This is the kind of "fuck you, customers" move I'd expect from the major publishers.
All the bad blood about Amanita's doublecross aside, I'm still interested in playing Botanicula, and I hope I'm not going to be hated on and labeled a traitor for that. ;)

So from what I gather Kooky isn't that good and even worse when dubbed in English, and Windosill is just a short flash game where you randomly click at stuff? I take it it's not really worth spending $8 dollar for the two? I already own Machinarium and Samorost 2 and have no interest in Steam versions, so if Kooky and Windosill are rather meh, I'll just buy Botanicula from GOG and then get the soundtrack for 1-3 dollars of charity from HIB. Any thoughts?
Sounds reasonable.

I kind of liken it to the guy who keeps the price of his game higher on his own website than the price he released it on Steam (game escapes me at the moment). He figured, if they come to his website and buy the game there, they're there specifically for his game, so they're interested in it, and willing to pay. But on a portal like Steam, for his game to get noticed among the score of games, he has to sell for a lower price.

Can't say it's flawless logic, but hey... it takes all kinds xD

Still, offering your game in a humble bundle is hardly a horrible thing to do in itself. Just the timing is off for people's peace of mind right now :)
