So... obvious question... can I play that Tex game without playing the others?

adaliabooks: That's not a bad price for Blackguards, considering its £34 here.
avatar
katya_stevens: I managed to snag it and the DLC for a few pence over £10 (plus a little over £2 back in store credit) during the mutator promo. Still, if people haven't got it this isn't a half-bad bundle.
I would have grabbed it then if I could have afforded to. I'm on the fence with this, I'll probably be able to afford it before it's done, but right now Blackguards is the only one I have any interest in.

How many more games are they likely to add, considering its a Jumbo Bundle? (I assume that means more games?)

JMich: Which one, if I may ask?

Grargar: 39 Steps.
Interesting, enjoy it nonetheless.
Hmm, Blackguards! but I'm not sure if anyone enjoys that game...

Thanks. It seems to be a suspenseful book so far.

About 3.

Edit: I just went and checked and the two previous Jumbo bundles both added in 3 games on the second week. Plus being a Jumbo bundle it's likely the games added will be some reasonably known ones.

If you're tight for money, you could put in a dollar or so now and fix your BTA price at around $5.30. That'd mean you'd only need to make the difference up on the order next week, regardless of how high the BTA is then.

(If you're not aware of this, e.g. pay a dollar now. BTA is fixed at $5.30. Next Tuesday you'll only have to pay $4.30 to unlock the tier 2 games. Doesn't matter if the BTA price is $10 when you go to increase your payment, you'll only need to make up to your original BTA price.)

nice bundle specially for the tesla Effect: A Tex Murphy Adventure but that's some steep bta , i wonder if putting up such high prices works out for them specially when other bundles still go with normal prices.
Picked it up just for Tesla Effect, which I still plan on grabbing full price on GOG after I finish Overseer.
Really nice $1 tier. BTA isn't so great though. I'm in for a dollar, I'll wait for the bonuses to unlock before deciding if I should BTA

Not that it matters, but Blackguards wasn't actually in the Mutator promo. It was offered on the Weekend Sale after (and partially during) the Mutator sale.

It was $11.29 for me on that GOG sale. I almost bought it, but then reconsidered, thinking about how much I had spent on the Mutator Promo. At this point, I'm kinda glad I did too, seeing as I just got Blackguards, DRM-free in this Humble Bundle for $5.29, plus whatever else I didn't already have...

Whoops. Okay, yeah, that makes a lot more sense. I got a few bonus items buying on the weekend promo but seeing as I have ETS2 and SR4 already it balances out a lot more for me.
I think I'll just wait and get Blackguards here when I feel like playing it.

EDIT: Disregard this. Proven wrong a few posts later.

I read that somewhere but I don't think that is how it works, at least these days.
I bought the lower tier of the current Book Bundle and decided to BTA after seeing the additions. I had to beat the current average and not the original one.

I didn't know that. Thanks, I shall definitely consider it. :)
