Rape, Murder, Lying, Stealing, The potential to end all life on Earth in one go --- and keeping chickens hostage for our own benefit!!
I think that the Human race might well have a lot to answer for, but what about you?

To be in with a chance of winning I would like you to give me one thing that we humans have done to either condemn or redeem ourselves as a race. An explanation would also be nice, but not essential.

Rules:
- Enter for yourselves.
- Please only give one reason per a post. You can enter multiple times, but only one reasons a post.
- You can be funny or serious, either way could win
- This will be open until Friday 23rd May 2014. The winner will be informed by PM and listed here sometime during Saturday 24th.

Please lets have some fun

EDIT:::
] Example
I say we are condemning ourselves

WMD / MAD
We are creating and stockpiling weapons that can obliterate entire cities, killing indiscriminately anyone and thing in their field of attack.

This is now closed.
The winner has been chosen, please see post 16

I'm in!

This thread reminds me of Dr. Strangelove!
Please count me in. Thank you. I think humanity has condemned itself with the widespread proliferation of the "selfie." :) +1

Believe in yourself(ie).
Not in.
Not in but thanks for the giveaway!
I can't say I don't have a mild curiosity about this game after it's Keane-like sales last Insomnia promo. (I did purchase Jack Keane 2 after last Insomnia sale). I often watch notoriously bad movies as well. I cannot guarantee how long I'll play it, but it will get loaded and given a shot. I like R-type like shooters and exploding chickens seems a plus! I mean, not sure why this didn't get snapped up!

So about humanity I have two words...
Justin Bieber

Think I've said enough. Goodbye cruel world!
edit: I'm out - someone gave me this game the other day.

Thanks for the giveaway

011284mm, thanks, neat subject for a giveaway! +1

Not in, but just for fun:

Mankind redeems itself every time we pay attention and practice kindness, forgiveness and look for what we have in common instead of what might separate us.
We're redeeming ourselves by killing ourselves. The sooner we're out of the picture, the sooner the dolphins can take their rightful place as the Earth's primary species.

Dolphin planet ^__^

Twitter condemns mankind. The single dumbest communications method in history, a means of communication that seems to primarily exist to create misunderstandings and "drama".

lol at "believe in yourself(ie)." Thank you for a good laugh! +1
We are condimenting ourselves. All these yoghurt based shampoos, sugar based peeling soaps and so on, they are loud calls for intergalactic monsters to come and eat us.
Not in, but thanks!

I think we have redeemed ourselves by buying so many copies of this game during the insomnia sale!
Just to give this a ... bump!
Thank you for your offer. I was watching HMA on the insomnia sale for a long time and started searching about the game, but decided at the last moment not to get it and save for something else.

We condemn ourselves by inventing and using substances before fully understanding the consequences.
For example, DDT. Advertised as a harmless pesticide and even sprayed on people to demonstrate how harmless it was. After decades of use, we found out it's non-biodegradable and accumulates through the food-chain to dangerous levels. It's now classified as a "possible" human carcinogen.
