It's too overpopulated for me. Also, some of the bees, wasps or hornets there are pretty messed up. They can shoot this liquid onto you, which attracts every other wasp in the area as they continue to sting you until you die.
Some of their culture is also too strange for my taste. Man bras are becoming popular there, so it would be really awkward to ride a subway knowing that at least one of the men there is wearing lingerie.

I'd rather man bras than all the people taking up entire benches for a nap, drunks vomiting on the upholstery, gangs wanting to knife you for the giggles and crazy people shouting 'THE END IS NIGH!' reminding me to avoid public transport.

Maybe I'm blowing it out of porportion. I just remember reading an article on Reuters that talked about how these new bras for men were doing gangbusters in the Japanese market.

Well, I don't live in Japan (is that good that I don't?) but Hong Kong, so that's probably why.
I'm sure in Japan, men wearing lingerie is something of a don't-ask-don't-tell policy.
