No purchases yet on GOG sales although Inquisitor tempting......
Picked up Grimrock and Inquisitor today. I'm liking Grimrock so far but I just got cornered by some skeletons.
I really wanted The Witcher 2 and since it was 75% off yesterday I bought it. That, and Master of Orion 1+2.
Bought Grimrock, so that makes The witcher 2 and legend of Grimrock. Tempted by FTL and inquisitor but decided against it.
I've spent 50 dollars last night during a christmas party so my wallet is literally dead (and so is my head...)

Oh yeah, I also had a christmas party yesterday. But at least mine was cheap, only bought two cans of beer (ended up drinking a lot more though). My wallet is holding up as is my head, my stomach is not. :P

Piranjade: I successfully resisted buying Theme Hospital yesterday but they got me with Legend of Grimrock today.
Let's see what tomorrow brings.
Ack! I think that game is my biggest disappointment on GOG to date. I hope you like it better than I did.

Thank you, I hope so too. Ultima Underword 1 is one of my most favourite games so I was hoping to find some of that "feeling" in Legend of Grimrock just with more modern graphics.

It's more like Dungeon Master and Eye of the Beholder than Ultima Underworld though, becuase it features tile-based instead of free movement and has probably less story elements.
"I wonder what they have today!"
*checks*
"You own this bundle :)"
"*sigh*"
So far. good, but I want to buy Street Fighter Alpha 2, Duke Nukem 1 & 2, Shadow Warrior, Sim City and Theme Hospital here on GOG. Maybe Retrocity Rampage if the price goes down a little more on a special sale. On steam I don´t know yet.
My wallet is holding up considerably well. Inquisitor got me, so I'm $3.74 poorer.
I got tempted by Witcher2 but decided I wouldn't be able to play it until next year's Xmas promo anyway.
A few Bullfrog titles tempted me too but I didn't want the whole bundle so 50% off wasn't much of a deal after all. I can buy them for the same price anyway until Jan 3rd if I change my mind
Wallet's more or less busted!

Bought a whole list of games on my wishlist am now poorer for it. These sales are so much better than the Steam sales, which seldom to never go on sale for anything I want.

May still be tempted by more deals, and on the final days of the sale too. :D
I just don't look into my wallet. I close my eyes and click on the BUY Buttons, when on GOG. Not with every game. But this holiday sale i did it several times already. I always say to me: don't do it, because if you buy to much, soon there is nothing to buy anymore. But ... i just like to support GOG, too. So i regularly come to buy games i won't play for the next years, just to support. Well ... i don't know how my wallet holds this far ... i am going to check my bank account in january first, not before ;-)
Still doing fine. I was able to resist the Steampunk/Cyberpunk bundle by telling myself that it doesn't make any sense to buy five huge games with about 100 games still in my backlog. Let's see what today's deal will bring...
