My wallet is doing Ok for now. I keep telling myself that I need to save the money only for the games I really want and it's working so far.

So far I've picked up Fahrenheit, Riven, and FTL. I'm getting very close to buying Duke Nukem 1+2; it's been sitting in the cart for a couple days now. I wish I would have gotten Trine when it was 75% off, but I probably wouldn't have had time to play it for a while anyways.

Fine. I bought the whole Civ V collection (minus two DLCs) a month ago and that's soaked up a ton of my gaming time. I did also pick up Trine 2 but I haven't even launched that once yet.

My wishlist is extremely short these days.

When a great deal comes up I just think "will I even play it? If not, then it needs to be $0 before I even think about it".

The fact that Steam's sales are coming up soon might have something to do with it too.

Pretty good. Only got 3 games.

My wishlist had 8 games on it prior to the sale commencing:
1. Duke Nukem 1+2
2. Startopia
3. Shadow Warrior
4. Duke Nukem: Manhattan Project
5. Terminal Velocity
6. Cannon Fodder
7. Miasmata
8. Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams

I bought 1-6 a couple of days into the sale. They might be even cheaper at some point, but I don't mind. They were $3 each and that's already far cheaper than I think they're worth.

I'll probably buy Giana Sisters before the sale's done too. $9 for a pretty cool platformer (I played the demo) that just came out is OK with me.

Other than that I'm just watching to see if any games I might not have thought about are brought into the spotlight.

Wow! After seeing that explosion on Twitter, there can be only one explanation...

I'm guessing... since the world is exploding on Dec 21, GOG will have one massive sale FOR THEIR ENTIRE GOG CATALOG on the 19th. One price, one massive download, all the games. That will give you TWO DAYS to enjoy them all before the world blows up with the sound of a Duke Nukem 3D shotgun blast!

But... how low will they go? Probably some super-low (relative) price. What are there, like 474 games or so? Could they sell them for $1/apiece if you bought them all? $2? Maybe $999 for the lot?
