Hi GoG,
I own this gamepad http://www.amazon.com/Saitek-PP32-PS2700-Rumble-Console/dp/B001EYU1UU/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1310497569&sr=1-1 and it works only when it wants to. I tried to play Borderlands with it but my gamepad wasnt responding, when I tried to play GoG Rayman 3 with it, no luck either. But when I played TF2, Lego Indiana Jones or other games it worked perfectly (dont worry I play TF2 with keyboard+mouse this was just experiment :P). Please help someone.

You could always try some JoyToKey software, where you map each joystick button to be a specific keyboard or mouse button. I've only used it on one game because it wasn't reading the gamepad, but it worked like a charm for me.

Just a hunch, but it sounds like it might be using xinput instead of directinput.

My last Saitek controller had it's own drivers that were required for it to work with some games, yours may require something similar.

Maybe not. That is a PC/PS3 controller; I would expect a PC/Xbox 360 controller to use Xinput, but not necessarily the PS3 version.
I managed to make it work with Pinnacle Game Profiler, but now I have SERIOUS problem...the sticks are swapped. Left one controls camera, right one movement...how to make it work normaly? How can I swap the sticks?
Okay figured it out (if anyone else has problem as me you can consider this as advice). Download some mapping software (as me Pinnacle Game Profiler) and then to each button assign key on keyboard (for example X=A , left stick up = W etc. etc.) then the game will think you are using keyboard, but you are enjoying the game with gamepad! Enjoy!
