monkeydelarge: You can listen to music while playing the game and the game play makes up for the shitty graphics.

tinyE: That's why they pay you the big bucks my friend! Brilliant! :D
Well it seems, some people need to be told, the obvious. And people do get paid for such things. Most of these people = tech support.

Darvond: Is there something wrong with Teenagent, or is it just the image of seeing 90s everyteen for the cover just that unappealing?
Maybe [url=http://www.harkavagrant.com/index.php?id=241]is [url=http://harkavagrant.com/index.php?id=289]else...

FcoEwerton: I wanna delete some games from my account, how can i do it?
I don't believe there is a method on the client side to remove a game from your account permanently, however if you're dead set on it then try sending the GOG staff a support ticket.

Here's a link to GOG support:
http://www.gog.com/support/contact

It is worth noting (imo) that there is a button in the 'My Collection' game shelf menu that will hide games you don't wish to display. The advantage of this is that if you ever changed your mind they can be re-added without re-purchasing.

I've attached an image of where you can find the Hide game button to this post, hope that helps.

MaridAudran: There are a couple of games I'd like to delete from my account myself.

But I suppose I can continue to hide them on my shelf and live in denial that they were ever there in the first place.
avatar
monkeydelarge: But deep down inside, you know they are there....waiting to rise up one day and consume the rest of your games...
Don't I know it. I know they're holding meetings in that cellar of the old distillery after hours with the lights off. They're not fooling anyone. I just hope when the day of crappy-game reckoning comes, I have enough ammo, and registry cleaners, to hold out.

Indeed. I typically listen to classical music while playing Spiderweb games - never liked that big ole silence in those games either - because it goes well with it for me. I've never been bothered by the highly antiquated graphics. In fact, I kind of like them. ;)

monkeydelarge: Hiding games you hate isn't good enough.
^This.

I will try the support. Thx!!

I can't speak for anyone else, but for me I hide TA not because it's a lame 90's-esque cover, but moreso that it's an amateur hour, deviant-art-esque quality cover that instantly clashes with every other title on the shelf.

Thank you for that! Now I might have to get that game...

I'd go to deviantart and pluck an amazing work, but I realize that'd be missing the point of the joke. :B

I hide Teen Agent because I hide the games I've completed
It was actually quite good - I liked it better than most of Sierra's main series (King's Quest, LSL etc.)

That's a good idea for the hide feature too.

I've not actually played TeenAgent myself, and no it doesn't look like a bad game either. The box art is pretty diabolical though and doesn't do the shelf, or indeed the game itself, any favors.

Yeah, to be fair, I checked through and I DO crown it the worst cover in my library at present - Normality and Entomorph were the only ones that really came close to being as bad, actually!

Oh lord, i've never seen the Normality cover, that is some impressively tacky 90's schlock.

TA aside, I think World Rally Fever's cover is by far the worst one I own, with it's cringeworthy "Amateur Western artist thinks he can draw anime" vibe.

zaine-h: Thank you for that! Now I might have to get that game...
I've watched that hilarious review so many times; I envy you if you own a system that it was released on — I'd buy Beast Rider immediately if I had a PS3 or a Xbox 360 :)

About the many bad reviews the game got, I like what Play's Dave Halverson had to say:

"Regarding many of the “reviews” on Sega’s Golden Axe: Beast Rider: Be wary. The majority of these people (can’t call them critics) either didn’t complete a fraction of the game, don’t understand game design, or just plain suck at games."

and: "But to score Beast Rider below a 7 is just irresponsible."
