I have been looking details regarding stem cell therapy but how do they work and why are they so important?
Gonna give this the benefit of the doubt, since there is no advertisement attached.

Start here: http://science.howstuffworks.com/life/cellular-microscopic/stem-cell.htm

And then this: https://duckduckgo.com/?q=how+do+stem+cells+work

Beyond that, it's PFM

HereForTheBeer has given links that should be of use to you. HowStuffWorks are usually quite informative articles.

The basic reason that Stem Cells are so important is that the cells themselves have no pre-set growth imprints so they can be used to grow any type of cell within the body.
If say you wanted a new ear after something had happened to yours, then stem cells could be cultivated and then imprinted to grow as an ear which is then what they would go and do. They would also not be as likely to be rejected by your body as the cells could be given the same type of genetic coding as your own body. This would mean that upon being sown onto your head, your white cells would think it was just another part of you and not attempt to remove or kill it.
It's viral marketing or image campaign. No normal user would make this his first post on a gaming forum.

Let me just say, biology is utterly remarkable and mind-blowing.

Either that or someone asking us to do his homework for him, which has happened in here before.

What I find interesting is how resilient yet fragile it can be.

Yeah. I was discussing with a doctor cousin, and I was saying how studying medecine would freak me out - Learning about all these things that can go wrong, all these vulnerabilities, all these necessary but delicate and precise little biological functions...

His answer was that he was even more impressed by all the safety mecanisms through which organisms regulate and repair themselves, so, all in all it all seemed more reassuring than frightening, to him...
