Dear Dudes and Dudettes,

I'm looking at the D&D bundle, and there are four games there I -really- want, one that I already own, and five that I'm undecided on. Since I'm not sure about those five, I don't want them added to my shelf after purchase in case I decide to gift them away or give them to someone.

So, how do I split the bundle up like that? There's nothing on it in the FAQ, and I don't want to enter my card no. and all that stuff before I know for sure that those five games won't be automatically added to my account.
Well when you redeem a gift code all the games on it that you don't own will be added to your account and the ones that you do own will stay on the code for someone else to use. That's the only way to split them up.

You can't split gifts up, a gift = one redeemable code for the entire cart.
While on the cart view, you can take off games by clicking the X popup (left of game name) while hovering/highlighitng a game.

Unfortunately, you can't. You either buy it or gift it completely.

Yeah, I tried that, the four games I want cost more than twice of what the whole bundle costs.

So it seems I'll be stuck with five games I'm likely to never, ever play on my shelf. That sucks, it would have been great if I could have split the bundle up, kept the games I wanted, and gifted the rest of them.

You can get all the games you want fot 80% off, even if you delete an item. Let me be more specific.
on the https://secure.gog.com/checkout/ page, click the little x to left of games name while you hover of the game.

I tried that. It doesn't work. The prices bounce back up.

Only if you already own the games you're removing from the cart.

Oh then I'm lucky I'm getting the full % off.

Ah I do add them all as gift, then delete one by one the ones I own :D, still should "gift entire bundle" then delete stuff maybe works.

Ok, so I tried that now, but I'm still getting a much higher price. I'm sad to see it's not possible - I don't even mind paying the same amount of money for fewer games, I just don't want to pay more for fewer games.

EDIT:

If anyone who is getting the discount wants to trade NWN1 for Twinsen's Adventure, which I currently have a one-day offer on, let me know!

Wow, sorry to hear that, it seems I don't understand how it works exactly. Sorry. Guess we can't split it.
I'll test it, right after I finish giving away my stemgift.

Yeah, gifting part of a bundle for full price reduction only works if you already own the full bundle. When buying for yourself you'll get the full reduction for just the games you don't yet own.

Gog all ways has to make it difficult :P Just make it the highest % off, sheesh.

Do you already own the games you remove from the bundle? Because if so, you'd still get the full 80% discount. I still get the 80% discount when I uncheck Planescape since I already own that.

Agreed, I wouldn't mind paying $19 for five less games than I'm offered. What I -do- mind is either having my shelf and backlog cluttered up with games I don't want and don't want to play, or to pay $34 for four games when I get nine games for $19.

That seems how it works, sorry I miss informed you earlier, I really was hoping everyone could get full % off.
