Hey all, can anyone tell me what games on GOG (other than Heroes of might and magic series) can be played as hot seat? Either designed or ad hoc.
I don't think the games on gog depend on the heat of your seat. :P
This might help...http://www.gog.com/mix/local_multiplayer_splitscreen_hotseat_etc

The ability to have a multie-player game on one computer, either through an official "hot-seat" mode or just by one player taking control of two teams in a turn based environment (ad-hoc hotseat).

I know i'm just messing with you. :P
Thank you. I tried looking through Gog-mixes but could not find one like the one you linked. Am I blind or is there no Gog-mix search function?

I know, but thought I would clarify in-case someone who read it, genuinely got confused.
I'm playing it in bed, so it's more of a warm patch rather than a hot seat.

There is none and that sucks. GOG has some kind of sick aversion to a proper search function with mixes and the forum...
There are a lot games missing in that.
I would at least add:

Balls of Steel (hot-seat)
Disciples & Disciples 2 (hot-seat)
Rayman Origins (local co-op)
Guacamelee! (local co-op)
Shadowgrounds & Shadowgrounds 2 (local co-op)
Adventures of Shuggy (local co-op)
Ring Runner (local co-op)
Megabyte Punch (split-screen)
Aqua Kitty (local co-op)

Hmmm... Hot Seat and not Heroes of M&M
From the games I own right now I can only think of these:

Expeditions: Conquistador
Alpha Centauri
Master of Orion 2
Age of Wonders III
Lords of Magic
I think Super-melee in Star Control II offers the best keyboard-sharing space duels in existence. If you want the game for free, you can download the open source port called The Ur-Quan Masters.

Here's some Super-mele duels. Notice how varied the ships are, with different attacks, movements and life points:

The controls as I remember them:
Turn left
Turn right
Thrust
Primary Attack
Secondary Attack
From those on GOG, Heroes of Might & Magic 2 & 3 and Worms still rank as my all-time favourite hotseat games.
You can throw in North & South but it's not on here.

I think Age of Wonders (the first at least, which is also the best one) also had this option ?
Alpha Centauri has it (I think it came with Alien Crossfire), but it gets too unwieldy real fast.

iippo: if You have the time, Try MAX 1.
Shit I haven't fired this one up in ages. But now I should work.
Must. Not. Install.
A few more to add:

Capsized
Hammerwatch
Octodad: Dadliest Catch
Pixeljunk Monsters HD
Pixeljunk Shooter
Risk of Rain
Serious Sam: The First Encounter
Shattered Haven
Spelunky
Super Puzzle Platformer Deluxe
Trine
Trine 2
Vertical Drop Heroes HD

I haven't tried any of these in local coop myself yet, so I recommend to do some research before buying.

Worms are the very essence of hot-seat and they are incredibly fun:
Worms United
Worms 2

(dunno about Worms Forts though)
