I'm very fond of Blood Sisters, a surprisingly good film with an absurdly silly premise. The Church (La Chiesa) is pretty damn good too, one of the unofficial Demons 3. I absolutely love Horror Express, a fantastic film with Christopher Lee and Peter Cushing and Telly Savalas. I also enjoy The Terror with Jack Nicholson and Boris Karloff
Army of Darkness
Tremors is worth a mention I think :)
Nekromantik movies? I haven't seen them, but the titles got stuck to my head when I was younger. I guess they were used as some kind of examples "See what kind of filth they are pushing to our young ones through VHS???". The title is just catchy in some way.

Reading IMDB, sounds interesting, albeit I am unsure if I want to see it anyway. Hard to tell, the line between genuinely gross and just laughable is always thin with gore movies.

Prince of Darkness by john Carpenter used to scare me to death as a child haven't seen it since. Actually all john Carpenter movies fall in this category and most are actually worth watching. (except that mars thing, and this hurts everytime I say it Halloween 2)

I second Prince of Darkness, but Ghosts of Mars is pretty fun. Also I love the Halloween series, absolutely love it (except H20), even the remake and it's sequel, and 3. Also, watch Halloween 3. It's pretty damn good.

I've seen them all and i love them even the remake by rob zombie. But i don't like Halloween 2 and suprisinly i didn't lik the Halloween 2 remake either even though it was a lot more different then it's source material then the remake of Halloween was.

Edit: I actually think that of all the slasher horror movies franchises the Halloween series has been the most consistent in making decent sequels...

GabiMoro: The most scary movie that I saw was one with a giant killer octopus/squid, but I don't recall its name. I couldn't sleep the whole night.
I saw it before 1994, so probably the movie it's from the '80s.

The movie has a scene in which a man runs into a car graveyard and manage to go away with a car, but then the tentacles from above the car kill him.
There is also a scene where little kids pick up eastern eggs hidden in a garden, and a tentacle is visible in the sewerage but nobody is harmed.
A man is grabed by tentacles underneath a garrage door and later parts of his body are discovered.
The action takes part in a inland town (no sea or river as I remember).

If somebody could tell me the name of the movie I'll be very happy. Sorry for derailing the thread.
I would really like to help you with this, unfortunately I'm not too savvy on creature/natural horror... plus, your "octopus/squid" could just be an alien with tentacles, or any kind of lovecraftian thing. I browsed for it, but couldn't find anything that matched your description, I'm guessing it would be better if someone who actually watched the movie told you its name.

No need to apologize for derailing the thread, since you didn't derail anything; this was meant as place for us to share horror b-movies with each other, so if anyone knows the name of that movie, we all win, that's another new suggestion.

I've also browsed for it but I couldn't find anything :) That's why I asked on the forum, hoping someone have seen this movie.
It was on VHS...I wonder if I'll watch it now I'll still be scared or I'll laugh till the end :))
It's name was translated as "Horror town" but that's not the orginal name of the movie.

xxxIndyxxx: I Always considered the hellraiser movies b-movies. I love them so i don't mean that as a negative ;)
I can't agree that Hellraiser and Hellbound (first two) are B. The story (I really loved how, in spite of monsters, the real antagonist in those two is always a human), the effects (at least for those times), the mythos - all this is too good for B :)

It's actually more of an art-film than a horror-flick. The sequel even more so. There also isn't that much gore. Still, it's a pretty good movie, if you can stomach the content.

For anyone interested here is a review of this movie by The Cinema Snob. Just don't take the review too seriously. The Cinema Snob is a parody of real movie critics, like Roger Ebert (RIP), and specialises in horror, thriller, exploitation, and porn.
definitely Dagon
Dagon rules, made by the same people as Re-Animator with a good Lovecraft
Atmosphere.
NONE OF THESE ARE B MOVIES! THEY ARE ALL TIMELESS CLASSICS WHO NEVER WON ANY OSCARS BECAUSE OF THE MILITARY FACIST REGIME THAT RUNS THE AWARD SHOW!!!!

On that note go with The Sentinel (1977 I think) and I noticed the OP had a bunch of Living Dead movies but not the best one ever, THE ORIGINAL!!! 1968, "Night of the Living Dead". Any fan of horror films will attest that it is hands down without question the greatest one ever made.
