Yeah, yeah, we all want the brilliance that is System Shock 2 or Planescape Torment. But on the other hand, I'm shocked that there are 412 people who voted for Ultima IX and 92 people for Daikatana in the wish list. So, any other horrible old games you guys want to play again...just for the hilarity of it? :D
Uhhh "historical interest" LOL!!!!!!
It got mediocre reviews (from magazines at least) at release, but I've always enjoyed Sanity: Aiken's Artifact
Big Rigs: Over the Road Racing, it is so universally panned, I just have to try it out.
Hey Ultima IX was bloody good. Bloody DODGY but bloody good.

Funnily enough I got U9 running on Vista x64 without issue. It was an amusing night in IRC... I have no life.

To be frank, Daikatana was just a forgettable FPS but it was made way worse due to the idiot John Romero and the Dallas branch of Ion Storm. Who remembered the slogan: "John Romero's About To Make You His Bitch....Suck it down" and all the great drama they did trolling the forums instead of doing actual work.

Indeed. Daikatana is not really a bad game (a mediocre game at best), its just a way, way overhyped game that could never live up to the expectations the hype set for it.
The Duke Nukem Forever of its day really.

Well yes that game is pretty bad but if memory serves they had the traditional reduced development time AND they made the cardinal error of switching to the brand new & shiny D&D 3rd edition halfway though the development so a lot of the time they COULD have spent making the game good was instead diverted into making the game 3rd edition
math muncher ?
