the_bard: "Awakened by an oncoming storm, you open your eyes to discover yourself in a strange, dark room—tucked away in a house that’s not yours. You... " try to open the door, only to find it locked (of course). I immediately start checking the room, picking up any object not bolted to the floor. I start combining them with each other and soon realize I can make an explosive out of the batteries on the remote, chalk powder ( I'm actually terrible at chemistry, ok?) and a can of pepsi that was on the mini-fridge.
Now I need something that I can use to attach the explosive to the door lock. Under the cupboard I've found a screwdriver. After several frustrated attempts at using it on random items around the room and against items in my inventory, I manage to unscrew the backplate of an old computer that was sitting under the desk. Inside it I find the cables held together by means of duct tape :P.
Upon closer inspection I notice that it's some low quality tape that keeps its glue sticky indefinitely. I remove the tape and combine it with the explosive, and then use it on the lock. The lock is blown apart.
Now I have access to the rest of the house. I haven't thought that far yet, and based at how bad I am at creating these stories I think I'm approaching my creativity limit. And i still gotta figure out why I was in a strange house and who's responsible.
