There is a lighter in your pocket. Along with a flashlight. you also feel a caribiner with a small LED light attachment. You seem afraid of the dark. What do?

Why? The echo of the whistle will give you an approximate size of the room and an approximation as to whether it's empty or not.

You remove your flashlight and turn it on. The room is filled with: a desk, with a pen and several stacks of writing paper. There is a door on the other side of the room. Oh my god! You notice writing on the wall (Written in red paint?). It reads (several times) "You'll never escape. HAHAHA. *and in small print* Wow, did I just write hahaha?" As for the analgesic, you currently don't have any.

The desk strangely has no drawers. As for the writing paper, it appears to be a handwritten copy of Douglas Adams' "The Hitchhiker's guide to the Galaxy".
