Decided to get it then. :) Im having a bit of trouble with paypal in steam. Since in paypal Puerto Rico counts as part of USA and in steam apparently since the ip is in PR and the address in USA it does not match and I cant use it. :(
I will buy Dawn of War Pack. :) 29$ nice offer.
Bejewled for 99 cents? Yes please!
Oh, and now's the perfect time to get Peggle. I love that game so much!

you might be able to run your computer through a proxy server.
If he will do that (proxy trick) his Steam account is get permenantly banned.

I'd like to verify the source of your claims.
Proxy:
Sure you can browse the Steam Store using proxy servers in USA and see everything in $ again. But if you want to buy anything you need to:
1) pay with American VISA or other US credit card
2) American PayPal or any other payment method that proves you're in US
What happens if VALV€ finds out?
You will be banned somehow probably or your account will be disabled permanently. Yes, there is nothing about proxy in the Steam Subscriber Agreement, but still VAVL€ will act against it.
So simply don't try it.
It's easier to ask your friend outside Europe to buy something for you!

Well using a proxy should work fine for him, seeing as Paypal considers his account to be U.S. :)
I looked around the site and it said I should contact support. The proxy sounds like a good idea. I will ask them about it just in case. Puerto Rico is kinda in an odd place. Weird stuff happens when I order at some sites. Once I set the country as PR and there was only international shipping. Which is weird since here its USPS. When I changed country to USA, PR was in provinces and there I got the option for USPS shipping. I guess weird stuff happens when youre part of the bermuda triangle ;)
I just noticed this :
CDP answers an email about Steam Prices
Maybe it'll interest some of you.
European users right now are really better served using Amazon.co.uk. Thanks to the low pound (€1~=96 pennies) prices are pretty crazy and me and my friends just ordered a package consisting of (all for PS3):
Tomb Raider Underworld £29.89
Shaun White Snowboarding £24.90
Far Cry 2 £18.61
Dead Space £25.86
Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare (Game of the Year Edition) £26.21
Call of Duty: World at War £40.50
Motorstorm: Pacific Rift £21.19
Midnight Club: Los Angeles £18.62
Prince of Persia £25.86
Lego: Indiana Jones £16.55
Edit: Here's the current chart for EUR-GBP:

oh yeah, apparently I didn't mention it before..
The Unreal Deal pack is gone from steam..
Why?
Because they ran out of UT3 and UT2k4 keys. so they aren't selling those games right now.
If you're really hurting for UT2k4 get it here anyway, lol.
I was planning on getting the Unreal Deal pack, mostly just as an alternative to my CDs for my retail copies of two of the games, I already have UT2k4 through here (read gog.com).
Anyway, I hope many of you have seen something you wanted (on either Steam or GOG.com) and got in on the mad savings.
WOW, I'm really surprized that I was reading a GOG thread. I mean, I appreciate knowing when my dollar can go further as much as the next guy but shouldn't much of this thread be relocated to the Steam forums?
I'm sure that people here are smart enough to check other DD sites for content and pricing on their own. Considering that checking different DD sites is a click away, and therefore no real inconvenience, is it necessary to have someone, more or less, advertize for other agencies here?
Just a thought.

Like I've said previously, there is a large following of members here who are also on the Steam group and the IRC, but.. we're also fans of GOG.com.
I myself have shortcuts to all my gog.com games in my steam client.
Anyway, also, like I've previously said, I feel that GOG.com and Steam offer two different products, even if it is the same game.
You usually get a boatload of extras with your purchase at GOG.com, and continued sup
port..
it looks like the unreal deal is back, i got it. :)
