Brace yourself, Ned. The 2012 DRM-Free Holiday Sale is coming!

No, there's no release today. But there's a good reason: starting tomorrow, we'll be starting our winter season / festivus / celebration of your choice sale, and we know that you'll be thrilled about it.

What's the sale going to be? Well, we would hate to spoil the surprise early. But we'll be offering your favorite games for sale at prices that should warm even the grinchiest of hearts. While you're waiting, though, we've started some holiday celebrations--you know how we love to give you guys gifts--and you can enter into our week-long holiday-themed caption contests right here, if you're so inclined, or stay tuned for more holiday silliness in our forums as well as on [url=https://www.facebook.com/gogcom]Facebook, and Google+.

I'm not seeing the same list you are :/ ...

BG2 is in first place on the best selling list... followed by fallout 1 & 2...

The current list on the main page seemed to change every few mins last I looked at it, I doubt it's actually sorted by most games sold, either that or it's a very short period it's showing.

I've posted 2 screens (One of the top sellers and another of the best sellers)

The top sellers usually features games that are on promo or have recently been on promo, so I have reason to believe they update/restart it on a weekly basis...


Best sellers have always featured top favorite games by the community.... so I have reason to believe that the list have never been restarted.

Ah, I'm talking about the Best sellers shown on the main page. The pictograms. I haven't seen any consistency there and the last time I checked it changed every few mins, but granted that was around the start of the sale.

The other list does seem to be some sort of weekly thing or something like that, certainly not all time, that's only if you get the large list.

Still don't own Arcanum? those titles in the first 8 is the most crucial in rpg gaming.

Important question: I remember some posts (of GOG staff) saying that some of the games will only be on sale for one week, but I can't find them anymore.

Can someone please confirm that (because that would be tomorrow)! And if yes, which games are affected? Would like to know that, because I'm planning to spend a bit more after christmas (when I hopefully have some more money ;-)

Square Enix is on sale for ~24 more hours, Bohemia Interactive and Retro City Rampage for another 8 days.

Great Holiday Sale, but I miss the new releases. Where are the "new" and "new-ish" games mentioned on the very first day of the promos? :) I really hope one of them is A New Beginning - Final Cut that was released on Steam a few days ago. I've been waiting for that game to show up on GOG since Daedalic games started being released! Does someone have an inside scoop abou this? :)

My guess though would be "A New Beginning" and "The Walking Dead", but it's just a guess, educated or not.

Still have no idea. There is the top 9 Bestsellers with pics, then the Top sellers bottom half of front page. Then when u browse games sort by Best Selling (this one seems the one for best selling of all time - many of top 15 are RPGs....). All 3 are different.
