Brace yourself, Ned. The 2012 DRM-Free Holiday Sale is coming!

No, there's no release today. But there's a good reason: starting tomorrow, we'll be starting our winter season / festivus / celebration of your choice sale, and we know that you'll be thrilled about it.

What's the sale going to be? Well, we would hate to spoil the surprise early. But we'll be offering your favorite games for sale at prices that should warm even the grinchiest of hearts. While you're waiting, though, we've started some holiday celebrations--you know how we love to give you guys gifts--and you can enter into our week-long holiday-themed caption contests right here, if you're so inclined, or stay tuned for more holiday silliness in our forums as well as on [url=https://www.facebook.com/gogcom]Facebook, and Google+.

Tell your friends, hide your ducks, load the caravans, and get ready, because we're starting the gifting season early with a huge game giveaway tomorrow along with our sale, so you know you don't want to miss out. In the meantime, snuggle up in something warm, drink some eggnog, and we'll see you all tomorrow.

Bloodygoodgames: No, M&S is pretty bad here and ridiculously expensive :( Siam Paragon's (massive upscale mall) supermarket has them usually although sometimes they sell out pretty fast so I end up treating myself to Christmas pudding or just some imported chocolate :)

And yep, I hear you about the crazy employer. Had more than my fair share, although surprisingly in America and not here. Here I just get the Thais who promise one thing and give you another :)

Yep. My Thai-American friend absolutely loves those things, so every time we go to Siam Paragon or Central World, where there's another one, we HAVE to get them. Actually though, I like them too but as everything I eat lately seems to be going to my ass I have to be careful :)

Bloodygoodgames: Yep. My Thai-American friend absolutely loves those things, so every time we go to Siam Paragon or Central World, where there's another one, we HAVE to get them. Actually though, I like them too but as everything I eat lately seems to be going to my ass I have to be careful :)

I'm guessing it's all about America :)

Oh well, just bought a game I wanted on GamersGate so I can go to bed happy. Hopefully I'll have some money left when I get back from Malaysia.........if not, it's not like I really need any GOG games anyway. I've about 30 on my shelf I haven't even played yet :)

But jokes aside I'm in a bit similar situation and I'll have to come up with an excuse, so I won't go for holidays with friends (staying at home and catching up on games sounds better to me).

Have a nice trip to Malaysia and go for diving if you can!!

I'm working pretty much all Christmas except for probably Christmas Day. I work for myself though, so it's self-induced :) But yes, I'll be trying to clear a bit of my back log too (the more I talk about it, the more I realize I really do NOT need any more GOG games ---- see GOG, if you'd started your sale at the normal time I would probably have bought some by now. But now........it's not sounding like too good of an idea, LOL.

And no, no diving. It's a business trip to Kuala Lumpur. Nothing but meetings and a hotel room. :(

On that note.....off to finish packing.

I'm also not very patient, so I already bought Dominions 3 on Desura and now I'm about $30 poorer. So hurry GOG, because I'm already in a christmas shopping rush. :)

Wreck diving is fantastic there, so anyone in MY should definitely go diving if they get a chance. :) Diving in Vietnam is pretty sweet too, so do come spend your hard earned $/£/€ over here. Money goes really far, the country is beautiful and people are lovely.

Fortunately the Christmas party I'm going to isn't until tomorrow, so my GOG shelves will get restocked. :P

Lucky you.... I would love to do more diving, but in Queensland, Australia it's expensive and you can't go to see wrecks - it's where the sharks sleep :)
