The End Might be Near*. Better Play Some Games!

We don't really know if the Mayans were right
Will the 21st be the Earth's final night?
If it really is, we know we'd want to be
Spending our last hours enjoyably

The end of the world, and the bundles we bring
Are a wondrous package--an incredible thing
All the daily deals for the whole month today shine
We've even brought ones from the future in asynchronous time

Of all of the days of the year 2012
This is the one for gamers just like yourselves
To pick up some games before the world ends
And spend your last day having fun times with friends

Some say the world ends in fire--or ice
We think that neither ending sounds nice
If the world has to end--neither frozen nor flaming
The world should end in a way that says: gaming!

There's and [url=https://secure.gog.com/gamecard/the_witcher_2]Witcher, and and [url=https://secure.gog.com/gamecard/duke_nukem_3d_atomic_edition]Duke
And Deus Ex, , or [url=https://secure.gog.com/gamecard/thief_gold]Thief
So before the world leaders launch thousands of nukes
Spend a few moments and suspend disbelief

Theme Hospital, , [url=https://secure.gog.com/gamecard/caesar_3]Caesar 3 and Trine
It sure was nice living, but we're just out of time
Ultima Games, from 1 to game 9
The aliens are invading--we must hold the line!

, [url=https://secure.gog.com/gamecard/wing_commander_1_2]Wing Commander, and indie FTL
Crusaders and Heroes of Magic and Might
The end is approaching boys; see you in hell
Bruce Willis can't save us from this meteorite

Quests for Kings and for Space and for Heroes and Glory
and [url=http://www.gog.com/promo/telltale_adventures]Telltale
The abyss is erupting--this will surely be gory
Frogs are raining down in amphibious hail

The world may be ending, our last day is nigh
So take this last chance to play games 'till you die!

*GOG.com in no way endorses The End of The World. We like it here. If you have a Death Star, a Death Ray, or a fleet of Cyber T-rexes with Lasers, please don't destroy the Earth right now. At least wait until we release that game that everyone's waiting for. And that one, too. No, that one probably will never happen.

Dizzard: Out of curiosity, how many games do people have in their carts?

Just trying to gauge how sane I am. :)
4, because I already own one from the Jumpin' Action Bundle.

Thinking over other stuff before I hit checkout.
Not bad deals, but I'm surprised by how little there actually is I'd want, as once again I already own most of the games of interest listed here, so most of the few games I still want to get are just going to be the regular half-off price. Fine by me.

The one really tempting bundle for me is the Jumpin' Indie Action Bundle for Snapshot and Capsized. Might also grab the Assorted Indie Adventure Bundle as Stacking is the only one I'm missing there, and for that low a price (even for a short game) it may very well be worth it. Daedalic's set isn't bad, but I'm not terribly interested in Edna & Harvey or Whispered World and to get Chains of Satinav and A New Beginning I'd actually pay less without those other two.

As for people who don't own a lot of games on GOG yet this should be great. The bundles I'd recommend, depending on your interests, would be Might & Magic, Ultima, Assorted Indie Adventures, City Builder (although I still can't figure how Lords of the Realm/Magic snuck in there), Jumpin' Indie Action, Bullfrog and Cyber/Steampunk.

kalirion: I'm guessing the reason for this is to pre-empt tomorrow's Steam sale? :)
Pretty much. Not all that surprising either. Might as well make the most of it before Steam throws its weight around.

Don't want any bundles but do want certain games :(
Oh well at normal sale price they still worth
Wow that's a lot of new games on my digital shelf, and a lot less money in my wallet. Well played, GOG. Well played.

Before that moment, when Gabe sits on a server, and they go down due to excessive load.
I have to say GOG...this is a sale!!!
Very nice
My wallet cries.

Bought the Last ultima games i missed alongside with the Migh and magic bundle.
only a few more games left on my wishlist. Probaby elimante them aswell.

Please make an extra price drop on King of dragon pass and Battle Realms!.
Finding this website was a determent to my free-time. The holiday sales make it worse but it is oh so good :)
I really am not liking the bundles thing. I have a bunch of stuff from other stores so for some of it I need to either rebuy or go with less of a discount :(

Ah well just venting really.
Now GOG has gone insane! The whole Might & Magic series as well as Heroes 1 to 5 with addons (and the horrible Crusaders), amounting to not hundreds but thousands (!) of hours of goodness if you really get into it. For one low price of 26 dollars!

See, this is what indie bundles have done to me - I am avoiding purchasing some games (Wallace & Gromit, Batck to the Future, FTL) because I expect them to be in a bundle within a year
Has anyone mentioned that if you buy a game (as a gift code) of a bundle where you own already all the games, it conserves the 75% off?

And then you can trade that code for other code of a game of another bundle?
Holy Hell at the Alan wake american nightmare price......

Brought!! oh and BTTF too.

FTL probably, but BttF and W&G... naaah, don't think so.
