One of the biggest fantasy series in gaming history.

Might and Magic is one of the defining series of role-playing games that shaped the way we game today along with the Ultima series, The Bard's Tale or Wizardry series. Today, we're offering 16 fantastic Might and Magic games in our catalog for little more than $25 in Might and Magic Madness.

The first game in the series was released 16 years ago! Let's read how the game was reviewed in Compute! magazine in August 1987:
"Might and Magic is an outstanding adventure game. This new release has the potential to take its place alongside The Bard's Tale and Wizard's Crown among the best in the genre. Might and Magic, all 500K of it (done entirely in machine language), contains just about every conceivable fantasy element crammed onto two double-sided disks. Over 4,000 individual locations, each graphically represented, comprise the 55 areas that make up the fantasy world of Varn. On Varn, towns, dungeons, castles, caves, wilderness, and even astral planes have their own themes, difficulty ratings, and special events. It is up to you to traverse this vast and varied fantasy world in order to gain wealth, experience, and the secret of the Inner Sanctum."

If you’ve never played any Might and Magic games, we’d suggest you pick up the 6 pack start with Might and Magic VI: The Mandate of Heaven. After you’re done, get Might and Magic 7: For Blood and Honor, Might and Magic 8: Day of the Destroyer, and Might and Magic 9 to complete the Mightily Magical experience.

Heroes of Might and Magic is probably the most recognizable, acclaimed, and legendary of the whole Might and Magic series. The perfect mix of strategy (many opponents, many castles, many heroes), RPG (gathering experience and leveling), resource management (gathering resources, managing armies) is considered a worldwide standard. It says a lot about the impact of a game series on the industry if other games are reviewed as HoMM-like. It doesn’t matter whether it's Heroes of Might and Magic, Heroes of Might and Magic II: Gold Edition, Heroes of Might and Magic III: Complete, Heroes Chronicles: All Chapters, or Heroes of Might and Magic IV: Complete--each of them is a game so simple to understand and yet so insanely addictive that it will make you want to play “just one more turn” over and over again. If you’ve never played as the Hero, we recommend starting with Heroes of Might and Magic III: Complete Edition--the title considered to be iconic to the series, the magnum opus of 3DO. And if you've ever played any of the M&M games, now it's time to complete your collection, today 75% off in Might and Magic Madness!
It would be nice if this offer could be split into two separate 75% offers, for those of us that are only interested in one style of the games.

Put all the Heroes of Might and Magic titles into one offer, and then put all the Might and Magic titles into a second bundle. Throw Crusaders of Might and Magic into the Might and Magic bundle.

I would be picking up 4 titles today instead of none.

If you hadn't noticed, every day is a different bundle. The only reason this and some others have come up a 2nd time is because they put many of the bundles up for sale on one day, Dec 21, to celebrate the end of the world. Other than that, from the day the sale began to the day it ends, a bundle has not been repeated yet on days when only 1 bundle is sold.

"You own this bundle :)" never thought i ever see those words come up in a promo. I feel happy :D
Please give us more pick and mix instead of the 75% off only if you get everything.
I bit the bullet and bought M&M9, I swear ill never DL it or play it, the first experience with my retail copy nearly put me off the whole series
Can't recommend this deal enough. If you don't already own all or most of them like I and so many of us here on GOG do, $26 for BOTH entire series of games is probably one of the greatest deals in all of human history.

And no, I don't consider that much of an exaggeration. It's like the Louisiana purchase. Buying this whole set for $26 is like buying 100 shares of Apple at $8 a share back in 2003. Hell, $26 is still an absolute steal for most of these titles individually. Because if I total it up, I've spent more than a thousand on these games over the years - and at least $65 for them on GOG alone - and they've been well worth it.

And with GOG's recent addition of the relatively as-yet unknown CD version of "World of Xeen" (which is Might and Magic 4-5 combined) with FULL SPEECH, you're getting one of the greatest RPGs ever made in its best version ever. So if you're wondering whether you should grab this bundle, know that there's never been a better time to buy, and you'll get years and years worth of quality gaming from them.

Honestly, this is like when the US bought Alaska from the Russians. You know, before oil became the #1 commodity on the planet?

Dito. This was the first time with a retail game that I seriously considered asking for refund. I decided to keep it as bad reminder and to never again trust in a franchise name alone.
It might be a nice deal for anyone who is at least interested in half the games, but for me, I would just get 1-2 games that I actually play and about 8 which I probably wouldn't even install...

Seems we still have the year 2003???

Note to myself: Stop driving around with the DeLorean.
