The Crown Jewels of RPG.

D&D fans are really lucky when it comes to PC games. Almost all of the RPGs set in the world of Dungeons & Dragons have become classics. Just look at the studios that made those games: BioWare (Baldur's Gate I and II, Neverwinter Nights, Star Wars: KOTOR, Mass Effect), Black Isle Studios (Fallout 2, Icewind Dale, Planescape: Torment), or Troika Games (Arcanum, Vampire the Masquarade - Bloodlines, Temple of Elemental Evil). Late '90s were a fantastic time for RPGs. Arguably, never later or never before were so many fantastic role-playing games brought to life. And even though they were so similar, they never copied each other, and each of those classics has its own distinctive style. Today only, for the next 24 hours, they're all 75% off in our [url=http://www.gog.com/promo/dungeons___dragons_deal]Dungeons & Dragons Deal.

Baldur’s Gate: The Original Saga and Baldur’s Gate II: Complete collectively received over 10 “Best game of the year” awards from publications such as PC Gamer, Eurogamer, Computer Games Magazine and IGN.

Likewise, the Icewind Dale series brought the D&D license to action RPG gaming, first in the old-school 2nd edition, and then with the updated 3rd edition mechanics in the second game in the series.

Planescape: Torment is widely considered as one of the best storytelling RPGs in gaming history, and if you've never heard the story of Nameless one, it's time now to fix this mistake.

The treasure chamber wouldn't be complete without Neverwinter Nights--a game with a great single player campaign that offers even greater multiplayer experience and modding capabilities.

Dungeons & Dragons: Dragonshard is a fascinating blend of RPG and RTS. Forgotten Realms: Demon Stone is an action RPG with some interesting tactical elements to go along with the usual hack and slash of the genre. Finally, Temple of Elemental Evil is not only a great tactical RPG based off one of the most famously brutal old-school tabletop RPG modules, but it's also one of the most difficult PC games you'll ever play.
Best titles on GOG.
I was waiting for Baldur's Gate discount. GOG drops this bundle promo. I do not own any of these games here and never played any of them. I have the money to spend. Should i buy this promo bundle?

As long as you have a lot of spare time. The baldurs gate games will take you ages to complete alone!

Haha, i think that with the past years of holiday discounts both on steam and here on gog there will never be enough time to play all the games. The thing is that i was looking for Baldur's Gate discount and it is only available with a bundle purchase. Essentially, now i will still have to pay the same price, but i will get a bunch of other games.

Personally, I'd say the MUST PLAY ones (BG 1&2, IWD 1 & 2 & NWN) are well worth the $20 alone.
And you get the other games free, whether you ever play them or not....
Anyone know why none of the bulder's gate aren't on sale seperately?

Maybe GOG actually do not have a real discount on Baldur's Gate, they are just giving other games for almost free.

Same reason as ever: licensing issues.

Yet Icewind Dale is not?
Must be something to do with Bioware then...
I went ahead and bought it. The way i see it that i have paid the regular price for Baldur's Gate titles and paid only $1.43 for other 7 titles. Overall, it is a good deal, at least for me since i didn't play any of these games yet.
YES! This is the day I have been waiting for, missed the equivalent last year unfortunately.

As for the BG Series not being on sale separately, I dare say it is in part to do with the new "Enhanced Editions" and whatever deals Beamdog negotiated.

Ah well, here's the way I see it: The games have some support, great extras, DRM Free etc, great forums and a really low price. More than happy to pick these up. Now the tricky part....finding time to play.
So is this officially the last new daily deal or will there be another one that wasn't in the end of the world promo before the sale is through?

I wanna know because if there isn't I'll just buy the ones on my wishlist right now instead of waiting another week.
Now I have this collection the only thing I need for dungeon crawls is a Win7 friendly Dungeon Siege collection. Takes too long to implement the XP level nowadays.
Good lord. GOG is like a five fingered, sneaky master baker that keeps shoving irresistable cakes and cookies in my face all day long while pulling dollar bills out of my pocket while I'm not looking. Oh well, I need more presents forrrrr meeeeeeeeeeeee.
