The Crown Jewels of RPG.

D&D fans are really lucky when it comes to PC games. Almost all of the RPGs set in the world of Dungeons & Dragons have become classics. Just look at the studios that made those games: BioWare (Baldur's Gate I and II, Neverwinter Nights, Star Wars: KOTOR, Mass Effect), Black Isle Studios (Fallout 2, Icewind Dale, Planescape: Torment), or Troika Games (Arcanum, Vampire the Masquarade - Bloodlines, Temple of Elemental Evil). Late '90s were a fantastic time for RPGs. Arguably, never later or never before were so many fantastic role-playing games brought to life. And even though they were so similar, they never copied each other, and each of those classics has its own distinctive style. Today only, for the next 24 hours, they're all 75% off in our [url=http://www.gog.com/promo/dungeons___dragons_deal]Dungeons & Dragons Deal.

Baldur’s Gate: The Original Saga and Baldur’s Gate II: Complete collectively received over 10 “Best game of the year” awards from publications such as PC Gamer, Eurogamer, Computer Games Magazine and IGN.

Likewise, the Icewind Dale series brought the D&D license to action RPG gaming, first in the old-school 2nd edition, and then with the updated 3rd edition mechanics in the second game in the series.

Planescape: Torment is widely considered as one of the best storytelling RPGs in gaming history, and if you've never heard the story of Nameless one, it's time now to fix this mistake.

The treasure chamber wouldn't be complete without Neverwinter Nights--a game with a great single player campaign that offers even greater multiplayer experience and modding capabilities.

Dungeons & Dragons: Dragonshard is a fascinating blend of RPG and RTS. Forgotten Realms: Demon Stone is an action RPG with some interesting tactical elements to go along with the usual hack and slash of the genre. Finally, Temple of Elemental Evil is not only a great tactical RPG based off one of the most famously brutal old-school tabletop RPG modules, but it's also one of the most difficult PC games you'll ever play.
Great promo, low price package. However, these classic western RPGs are too tough for me. It's not a bad thing as it add more depth and learning curve, but i just don't have enough time to sit through hundreds of hour of gameplay nowadays. I'm waiting for something more casual and easy to pick up.
For once I own them all already.

jamsatle: Just like the last time this D&D promo was up, I'm torn. Missing IWD1+2 (which I have on disc) and Demon Stone & Dragonshard which I can't say look that good to me.

But still tempting...
I'm in the same boat...Just want IWD1+2 and Planescape. Don't care about Demon Stone or Dragonshard neither. I suppose I could get this and consider selling my Big Box versions to reclaim some cash. I'll probably just end up getting this to get the soundtracks, etc...

Don't actually also have original BG since I sold that way earlier, but probably missing enough to get it for 75% off.

The Anthology doesn't have the NWN stuff and is on sale for 9.99 now on GG. Oh well, I have 24 hours.
Is this the last unique deal then? by that I mean all daily deals left were previously in the end of the world sale? just want to know so i can just get what im still interested in today rather than wait until next week

anx: Are you sure? I don't think so.
I haven't even noticed that BG1&2 are NOT part of christmas promo...Well - all is clear now.
Very nice surprise as I only have three of these games. - Thanks GOG

TurnipSlayerr: It's 50% individually or 75% for the lot. The only exception is for the Baldur's Gates which don't have the normal 50% off.
Unfortunately, those were the two I wanted, so no sale for me today.

Actually not a big deal though. I've bought a fair few this sale AND I already own both Baldur's Gate on disc, so it's not like I really need them. Just thought digital files would be nice :)
My thanks for this sale! This was the package I was waiting for! If only Fallout 1 & 2 were included in this one. Will they be on sale sometime before the end of the holidays?
I have been holding off on so many purchases for this very bundle. I was hoping I would see a bundle with only a couple of these games in it, but with all of these great titles in one bundle, my Christmas has been extended. Thanks GOG!
Nice, you own all games from this promo.Have fun and don't forget to check out our next offer.
A fantastic promo but I already picked up all of them during last year's DnD promo when I got the entire pack 60% off

Great value for people who don't have some of the games here though
Er...

The big sale and I already have it.

Oops.

I guess I should check if any other groups of games go off sale soon.
This is tempting to buy for myself but realized over my budget for these holidays, mainly due to previous GOG bundles during the end of the world sale.
This one or hope there will be a strategy bundle before the 3rd - one with MOO 1/2, SMAC and MOM to name a few more games I have my eye on atm.

Probably best mention the Circle of Eight modpack for Temple too, it's essentially a must-have.

You probably already played Planescape before, but if you haven't, try that one. There isn't much combat, even less if you focus on intelligence, wisdom, etc. what there is is pretty straightforward and if you choose to play on easy it should be completely manageable.

The game's strength is the story and you can really just focus on that without any worries. In that sense it should be casual enough for you.

No they won't. If you were here during the end of the world sale those were all the daily deals together except one, this one, so you've seen all there is to come and the Fallout games weren't there. So you can buy them with the current discount today without fear that there will be a bigger one tomorrow, unless the discount isn't enough, in which case, that's unfortunate.

Of the ones I don't have here the only one I want is Demon Stone, the rest are all hack and slash rpgs and the combat on these isometric real time with pause rpgs are what I hate the most about them. Since I only want one this promo is no good for me. I'll just buy it eventually with whatever else is at 50%.
