25 Sierra Quests--75 Percent Off

It's Monday, so many of you are probably wondering what to do during the week before Christmas. It's a little bit too early to prepare all the foods and drinks, and a little bit too late to do any actual work. That is why we have prepared a bundle of Quests for you and mind that these are not just some regular quests you can expect from any other average digital distributor, oh no, these are [url=http://www.gog.com/promo/quest_for_sierra_bundle]Quests from Sierra Entertainment--the epicest, romanticest, adventurousest, and most imaginativest quests ever known to a fan of video games. Quests like Quest for Glory 1-5, widely considered as one of the best RPG adventure series in known and unknown history. For the next 24 hours only, until Tuesday December 18 at 3 PM GMT, 25 different Quest games are available in a sweet 75% off bundle for less than $20!

What's in the bundle? We're glad you asked!
King’s Quest is a classic series created by Roberta Williams of Sierra Entertainment in the so-called “golden days” of adventure games. They chronicle the history of the Royal House of Daventry in a world inspired by fairy tales and mythology. Get King’s Quest 1+2+3, King's Quest 4+5+6, and King's Quest 7+8, all in one wholesome bundle.

Police Quest 1+2+3+4, all four designed by former policemen, are adventure games that put you in the shoes of California homicide detective. Police Quest: SWAT 1+2 is a non-typical compilation, because SWAT 1 is an FMV tactical SWAT-assault simulation and SWAT 2 is a real-time strategy. However, all Police Quest games are a must-buy for all those interested inthe nitty-gritty of actual police work, and they're part of a healthy gamer's Christmas shopping.

Space Quest - Venture through the Galaxy and fight for truth, justice, and really clean floors. A silly sense of humor, wacky storyline, Star Wars and Star Trek parodies, and janitor (!) Roger Wilco as the main character who repeatedly saves the universe by accident -- you can find all of this and even more in Space Quest 1+2+3 or Space Quest 4+5+6, all along with the other incredible games in this bundle, at one great price.

More classic adventure games than you can shake a stick at, this bundle hits you right in the nostalgia center with 75% off savings that are better than any workshop of elves could construct!

mrkgnao: Why not buy the whole bundle and gift away the ones you don't want?
avatar
htown1980: wow. i feel stupid.

do i get a separate code for each game?
No. But you can gift the whole package to yourself, redeem the games you want, and you are left with a code for all the other games.

Buying the whole bundle right now!
You should play Swat 2 first, great gem of a game.

I don't think it works that way. AFAIK when you redeem a code for multiple games, all games that you don't currently own are automatically added to your account. I believe you cannot choose which games you want to redeem.

Sorry. My bad.
Out of curiosity, is it possible for someone who already owns the entire pack to buy individual games as gifts at 75% off? If so I have Steam copies of Torchlight, Dwarfs, Serious Sam The Random Encounter, and Jamestown I would put up as trade. Primarily interested in Quest For Glory.

I am only interested in Quest for Glory in this bundle. So no buy for me.
I mostly only play old adventure games for nostalgia, and I didn't play any of these when I was a kid.

mondo84: I think that if you own all the games, you can only get 75% off if you buy all of them in a gift bundle. Gifts bought individually would be 50% off, but I'm not totally sure. Hopefully someone else can confirm this.
This is quite possible if you own the entire bundle. Follow these steps:
1. Go to the promo page.
2. Select the option to gift the entire pack.
3. On the Cart screen, remove any title you don't want. As long as the cart has one item, you will get the 75% discount.
4. Purchase as usual.

Check your PM for a possible trade.

wow. i wonder if gog intended for that to happen. seems like it could be open to be abused...

Once again, this is possible. While you will still be seeing the games as -50%, when you go to the checkout page the correct discount (-75%) will be displayed, since you do own the whole bundle. No need to add everything, adding one item and going to the checkout page will work.

Actually if you own the entire bundle you can just add the game you want to buy as a gift to your cart, it will show up with the 75% discount in your cart. No need to get the whole bundle and then delete games from your cart ;)

Popinjay: You should play Swat 2 first, great gem of a game.
Planning to play through Both Swat games

I played the 3rd and 4th one (Loved both of them) but never the 1st and second, looks like this bundle will change that
King's Quest 1 - 4 are pretty bad and so is SWAT 1 but I still couldn't stop myself from buying everything - even though I already have them in original boxes both separately (except for one or two) and as collector editions released in the late 90's.

What I love the most about these adventures (although LSL is not part of it sadly enough), is how skilled Sierra were at creating imaginative locations (except for, once again, King's Quest 1-4 which looked like a 5 year old drew the backgrounds). Space Quest III especially has some stunning artwork considering it's an EGA game.
