25 Sierra Quests--75 Percent Off

It's Monday, so many of you are probably wondering what to do during the week before Christmas. It's a little bit too early to prepare all the foods and drinks, and a little bit too late to do any actual work. That is why we have prepared a bundle of Quests for you and mind that these are not just some regular quests you can expect from any other average digital distributor, oh no, these are [url=http://www.gog.com/promo/quest_for_sierra_bundle]Quests from Sierra Entertainment--the epicest, romanticest, adventurousest, and most imaginativest quests ever known to a fan of video games. Quests like Quest for Glory 1-5, widely considered as one of the best RPG adventure series in known and unknown history. For the next 24 hours only, until Tuesday December 18 at 3 PM GMT, 25 different Quest games are available in a sweet 75% off bundle for less than $20!

What's in the bundle? We're glad you asked!
King’s Quest is a classic series created by Roberta Williams of Sierra Entertainment in the so-called “golden days” of adventure games. They chronicle the history of the Royal House of Daventry in a world inspired by fairy tales and mythology. Get King’s Quest 1+2+3, King's Quest 4+5+6, and King's Quest 7+8, all in one wholesome bundle.

Police Quest 1+2+3+4, all four designed by former policemen, are adventure games that put you in the shoes of California homicide detective. Police Quest: SWAT 1+2 is a non-typical compilation, because SWAT 1 is an FMV tactical SWAT-assault simulation and SWAT 2 is a real-time strategy. However, all Police Quest games are a must-buy for all those interested inthe nitty-gritty of actual police work, and they're part of a healthy gamer's Christmas shopping.

Space Quest - Venture through the Galaxy and fight for truth, justice, and really clean floors. A silly sense of humor, wacky storyline, Star Wars and Star Trek parodies, and janitor (!) Roger Wilco as the main character who repeatedly saves the universe by accident -- you can find all of this and even more in Space Quest 1+2+3 or Space Quest 4+5+6, all along with the other incredible games in this bundle, at one great price.

More classic adventure games than you can shake a stick at, this bundle hits you right in the nostalgia center with 75% off savings that are better than any workshop of elves could construct!
Strangly enough I downloaded an old Larry game the other day thinking it would be a great trip down memory lane. Five minutes later I was wondering what the hell I ever saw in it to begin with.
Finally, getting some good deals. I was wondering when you guys would start getting serious.

I actually read this during a work meeting. And I burst out laughing. You guys are evil.

Mivas: "Nice, you own all games from this promo."

Woohoo, my first promo where I have everything!
Yesterday was the first time I owned all the games in a bundle for me.

As for this deal........... I really miss Sierra.

Ghorpm: Whoa, I would have never thought that buying games from GOG.com is such a naughty activity that your children cannot see it ;-)
Ever tried to make an internet purchase with 3 years old girl and 5 years old boy constantly talking, sitting on your knees, pressing random buttons on keyboard and moving mouse all around the place ? :-P
Good offer, I was eyeing all those classic adventure games for some time, but I never had enough interest too pay full price, for 75% off, I couldn't resist.
That's a great deal! I own most of these on disc when they were rereleased in 2006, but I'm tempted to have GOG copies of these classic games. There's so much adventure gaming goodness in those Sierra packs.

No but I did try it with two 5 years old nephews (twins) and I know your pain (THE HORROR!). Anyway, your post sounded really funny when I read it for the first time ;)

All the best for your family and may your children have smart and wealthy father! ;)
Thank God. Another bundle I can live without. Already own all SWAT games as well as the newer King's Quest and Space Quest games. Can live without the oldest ones for now.
Now... let's see... $7.5 for the sweet abominations, stitched from the corpses of fairy tales by Roberta Williams. $5 for the games of two guys, who place random instant death in the game and laugh at the player for not figuring it out. $2.5 for the sims of following routine police procedures. Hmmm...
Nah, I'm quite happy with the QFG and Swat 2 I've already got. Except for GK, Larry and Laura Bow Sierra adventures are the kind of gaming history I'd rather watch someone else suffer through.
Didn't own a single of these games, so i bought the bundle :)

Huh, I guess they are out of luck here :-P
Nevertheless thx and Merry Christmas to you & your familly.

...and purchased, downloaded, $5 saved for some kind of giveaway later ...
My balance can rest for today, I've never heard of any of these games, so no nostalgic attachment here.

This apparently leaves one last day for another Eidos bundle (which would preferably involve the Legacy Of Kain series for me). I'd be rather disappointed if they start appearing after their 50% status disappears should I be forced to get them (or spend serious contemplation over them) from the lesser deals beforehand, even if those are obviously very good anyway. It's just a mystery what the plans are.
Well I replayed KQ a year or so ago - but I have never payed for those games, this is as good a chance as any for that :) It's been years since I played through all of the SQ games. They are filled with random deaths, but most of the random deaths are at least funny, and I feel the games are designed very well and flow a lot better than the KQ games. I already have PQ and QFG - PQ was a surprisingly fun playthrough as well. Yes, walkthrough in hand, but still fun :)

I might as well complete my set.
Very nice promo for those who don't own the games already. I only own QFG on GOG, but have almost all the rest elsewhere. Only missing KG8 and the Police Quest games.
