Hm. If only there were means to transfer money as permanent account bonus. My wallet will likely be empty in 2 weeks, regardless of whether I spend anything on GOG or not.

dirtyharry50: I'm a little slow but will the sale still be on all day on Jan 3rd then? This matters a lot for me who gets his social security monthly deposit on that morning. If so, I can wishlist stuff and get it the last day during all this. That would be sweetness.

Meantime, I am very tempted to add the Populous games and Magic Carpet to my collection for only six bucks where I own the other games in the promo. Thanks a lot GOG for giving us credit for previous purchases in bundle deals like that.

Was the free game supposed to be today? Did I miss it somehow?

Gazoinks: Btw, was Dungeon Keeper 2's Windows 7 compatibility ever fixed?
As I just bought dungeon keeper 2 today I can tell you; It works fine on my computer which is Windows 7, although I downloaded an unofficial 1.8 patch as well. If you want to get it I wouldn't worry too much now about the top rated comments as after I patched the game I have had no problems. I'm not even sure I would have had problems before but I didn't play until after I patched the game

Bloodygoodgames: So am I correct in assuming everything that's on sale today (except the Bullfrog game bundle) will stay on sale until early January at the same prices?
Not everything will be on sale for the entire period.

Square Enix games will only be on sale for one week.
Bohemia Interactive games and Retro City Rampage only for 2 weeks.

We will have announcements 48 hours before the discounts on these titles stop to make sure everyone knows.

dirtyharry50: On a bright note, I have my fully modded BG1 tucked away on my USB drive that only needs the widescreen mod to complete it (I didn't have a widescreen when I modded and played it last) and I can play that very nicely in XP on a virtual machine on my Mac. :D
Why on earth are people still using virtual machines when Wine(skin) runs better, doesn't need to boot up and doesn't need a Windows license? I even have a Wineskin wrapper for Infinty Engine games up over at the Porting Team. Once you've tried Winesin you won't want to go back :)

Same here. It was $5 on Steam and $5 twice on Amazon so far, but they only sell Steam codes.

I was hoping for at least 33% off here.
