Building the game with an idea of playing it without HUD would obfuscate this essencial information quite badly. Why would you want to play an RTS without HUD anyway? It's not like RTS games are built for immersion...
Completely disagree ^^ I would love to play a HUD-free RTS. If I am the one who set up the gameplay, then I should know what controls to use.

But yeah, I can see not many people being enthused about such a concept, so at the very least Hive can stand out by being a game which offers a HUD-free option.

We have the hotkey to hide HUD, but it would be very difficult to show all the required information without HUD elements.

If part of the gamers want this, it's something we can consider to implement.
