It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

No he meant Carmageddon.
Do you mean from GOG's listed games? - I didn't think there ever was a hide facility. Instead it should display as "Owned" if you're logged in.
Click on the title>Lower right option.

There, I saved the issue of searching. :U

Falling out of my chair on that one.

and lugum! Feel free to talk shit about me if you want but not about C2! It is godly in it's existence!
It works for me. What browser are you using? Try a different one or update the one you use.
Firefox + Stylish + the following userstyle:
@namespace url(http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml);

@-moz-document domain("gog.com") {
#catalogueResultsContainer .own {
display:none;
}
}
That's what I use to hide owned games from the catalogue, at least.

butcer: why cant i hide bought games anymore
I just tested it out and it works for me ok. I'm using Firefox 24. After bringing up my games list, either in bookshelf or list view mode, when I click on a game title and it expands to show you the content, in the game content area at the bottom there is a list of links:

" forum support reviews hide game "

Does the "hide game" link not show up for you or are you saying it doesn't work when you click on it?
Strange, I don't have the option to hide titles now either on My Shelf. The only options that appear are "Forum | Support | Reviews |".

Maybe an error in the style or something? There's an extra dot after Reviews that doesn't need to be there unless an option is missing.

*Edit - Just checked my games in the other view and the "Hide Game" option is showing up fine. Weird.

Didn't know you could do this. Can someone tell me what good it does to hide your games from yourself anyways? Or do you just have that many games that your list is too crowded?

*Shameless self-promoting of my new thread!* :-)

I guess some people buy bundles with some games they're simply not interested in or in my case, I've done it for games I've played that I ended up not enjoying much (or finished) and have no intention of reinstalling.

I tend to hide away games that I've completed
The cool thing is you can click on 'show hidden' and they slide out in their own little section, like a little trophy draw!

I can see that. I thought there was, like, you know, something I was maybe missing.
So I couldn't find "hide/unhide" game in the bottom right, of the game-details on my shelf....

I inspected the html, and see something strange for the page:
**
<div class="shelf_det_bottom">
__ <div class="list_det_links">
____ <a href="http://www.gog.com/forum/etherlords_series" class="list_link forum">
____ <span class="list_dot"/>
____ <a href="http://www.gog.com/support/etherlords_2" class="list_link support">
____ <span class="list_dot"/>
____ <a href="http://www.gog.com/gamecard/etherlords_2#reviews=1" class="list_link reviews">
____ <span class="list_dot"/>
____ <a class="list_link hide" id="hide_game_1207659167">
____ <span class="empty_space"/>
__ </div>
</div>
**
the child container, "list_det_links" has a width of 832px;
the child span, within has a width of 832px; and has been assigned: "display:inline-block;"

For some reason IE, thinks that is just fine, and you can still see the "hide/unhide" game link. In Opera and possibly other browsers that is NOT fine. If that "empty_space" span is to have any width at all, it needs to be less than the remaining width of "list_det_links"... or css overflow:hidden applied to "list_det_links".
Although the span probably shouldn't exist at all, when I delete it within IE's DevTools, the page doesn't change at all.
When I apply custom css via opera, to make "empty_space" have a width of 0px; then "hide/unhide" becomes visible again.

**Well apparently, there are no code tags :P
