As to how I decoded it, I think it's safe to say now - it's Braille.

Oh, I see. I figured it was Braille (the structure is pretty unmistakable), but it decoded to nonsense, so I gave up after a few characters. It never occurred to me it is a gift code. Silly me.

it has yet to be redeemed, did you use literary code for the numbers? or Nemeth? also which were raised? what is your first 4?
