LOL WUT
Cloverfield was a much better romantic comedy.

Bicro: Cloverfield was a much better romantic comedy.

I can't tell if that was a trolling comment or just the brutal truth.

Take it how you want, that's just how it was for me.
I bet it wasn't as bad as "Street Fighter: Legend of Chun-Li," another film that should be avoided.
Go watch "The Wrestler" instead. Much better fights.
Is it as bad as "Gigli"???

Gigli was awesome... although I have to admit I was on acid when I saw it, and I had an eye infection in both eyes, and my ears were plugged from a severe cold and I was in a coma.... but it was awesome I say.

Have you seen Chun-Li? If so please elaborate on your horrifying experience.
I've seen Battlefield Earth and Catwoman. Do I really want to put myself through trauma again? no!
Thanks for a warning. Thankfully most people I know, not only think I am crazy, but also would not have this film on their to-watch list.

You know, Battlefield Earth just made me NOT want to be a Scientologist.

Short Elaboration: Bad acting, horrible plot, bland supernatural elements, flat dialogue. But the most disappointing part is that all the action scenes are shot way to tight which means half the time it is impossible to tell what is going on.
If you are interested in more details I'm actually writing a review for school which I can post up on the web mid week.

Sure, I'm kind of curious as to how much it sucked.

The review i read said something like "I've never before seen an actor fail to convincingly enter a room...".
The snippets on RottenTomatoes are worth a read:
"should spur the legalization of guns in movie theaters so you can shoot yourself with them. "
etc..

Damn. I hate it when I write something that sounds like something a critic already said. But that was my biggest problem with the acting. It was like you had a bunch of shy kids performing in front of a camera instead of professional actors.
