Rodzaju: West 1
Heft axe....
"Bloody hell, where's my armour?"
Glares at Orc....
"If that forkin' elf thinks it's funny to nick a dwarf's armour while he's sleeping, he's gonna get a lesson in humour when I find 'im!"
End of turn.
Done

(As an aside, technically you cannot move, then action, then move. Something to keep in mind)

Ooops!
Out of practice, but still remember enough to not bother reading the manual....

No worries, that's what I'm here for.

I'm also here to attack and slaughter you. Have fun!
"Dungeons," the barbarian grunted to himself, "internal dungeons! I much prefer the glory of open field combat."

Having paused for a moment to consider his options, the barbarian sprints south towards a door.

Grunt. It sure is a door. Do you open it?

Without fear, the Barbarian swings the door open!

The door cracks the wall with an oppressive crash! The room, dully enough, is empty. A lone door sits opposite the room, mocking you.

Is search room for traps and secret doors the same action or is it two different actions?

If it's one action, I will search for both.

If it's two separate actions, I will search for secret doors.

End turn.

On some versions of the game it's separate, but for simplicity I count it as one and the same.

As for your search? A smallish hole in the south wall gives way to a space large enough to fit through. A secret door!

MrWilli: -snip-
You can still do an action since your search check wasn't allowed (basically only cast a spell).

Did you want to do that or end your turn?

end my turn
OOC: Exploring the secret door isn't automatic. It will take another turn, right? Just checking.

It operates just like a regular door. You have to move up to it and open it, the search just reveals that it exists.
The Orc's turn!

avatar
Rodzaju:
The orc facing off with you takes a step south to block the exit. He swings!

Unfortunately, with your lack of armor, you only manage to parry one of his blows. You have taken two wounds.
avatar
MrWilli:
The orc charges forward and stabs three times!

Fortunately his helmet falls over his eyes and he misses wildly. It's quite frankly embarrassing for him.

Round 2 begins! Here's the layout of the dungeon.

I will take that bloody Orc's head off with my axe!
"That elf has a lot to answer for...."
Then, assuming that the Orc dies, North 4, WITHOUT opening the door

What's with the wobbly editing?

Having some real issues with the forum software, but I think I have it licked. Sorry about that.

Regardless, you swing at the orc, nice and mad. The smelly orc dodges once, but you leap forward and cut directly through his middle. The orc keels over, and promptly dies.

You move north and pause at the door.
